My uncle was diagnosed with CJD in JANUARY/ Ontario Canada. There has been nothing we can do for him & he's only 60. There's something more going on here...

From what I’ve read as well as my own personal experience with CJD (my mother in law) I think more research needs to be done on high stress related events and their influence on sporadic CJD

I’m wondering if there has been an increase in Prions Disease since the Covid vaccine. An acquaintance of mine just passed away after five months with Prions.

I do wonder if there have been any statistical analyses on the correlation between long-term medication regimens (of any kind) and sCJD. Could exogenous chemicals increase the probability of the conversion of cellular prions to their pathogenic form, then aggregation? Also, do certain comorbidities increase the probability of sCJD?

More accurate diagnoses is my guess in which case you'd expect the cases to level off at some point.

yeah that's most likely, however it's interesting that it looks like a steady linear increase, it would be interesting to date the plot with noticeable discoveries or increased medical coverage of the disease and see if that predated spikes. If it doesn't begin to taper off this decade, and no new treatments have been introduced or detection methods; perhaps something else at play.

    Prions aren't affected by heat.

The heat has to be very high for hours which may kill it. Just maybe.

@axlesolace6502 "Kill it"? It's not a living organism, like a virus or a bacteria (yes, there is still debate if whether or not viruses are alive, I personally think yes), prions are just proteins.

@adventureswitheddie6444 Prions are 100% fatal and 100% infectious. The issue is we will never know if we're already infected, because that thing will stay in incubation for possibly years!

So the people that have succumb to this horrible disease are just written off as Sporadic...it's wrong. It's just a cop out for the Government not to take the blame. Iv seen my family member deteriorate rapidly and die in a horrific way and there is not a thing we can do about it.

So dying in a horrific way through contamination is just to be accepted as a Sporadic disease. I have personal experience of this happening to my loved one. It's not right but there is no proof as UK don't do Autopsies on cjd patients. Good cop out !

Prions were “weaponized” long ago (forced to jump specie from bovine/sheep to chimpanzees) , isolated clusters broke out in colo , wi , ny , africa , all with different names based on species

and possibly humans via human cells cultivated in FBS used to create vaccines. A meeting held by the FDA in 2001 looked at HEK cells and how they were cultivated making one wonder if it has caught up with them and we are beginning to see the effects of creating human chimeras mixing human with other animal species. Also feeding cattle ground meat and bone products does not bode well for man or beast and we do not know what is in the animals vaccine regime or how they are cultivated.

They haven't been weaponized, I would, as a guy with experties in virology, weaponize Litic viruses, as they're more easy to control and spread, prions just take too much time.
