The Story of The Titan Facilities on Azeroth [Lore]

Ойындар

Got the request to talk about the Titan Facilities on Azeroth. What was their purpose, what have they done, how did we influence them? Sadly I forgot to write down the name of the person who left the comment so if you're out there, thank you! Was a lot of fun to go through this. Have a great week everyone.

If I learned one thing from Ra-den, the Keepers of Ulduar and Algalon, it's that whenever there is a disagreement between you and someone who doesn't care about you enough to be openly hostile to you, hit them till they are convinced that you're right.

Thank you for clearing up all the Titan history. I could not follow their tale within the game, and besides being made to help the Titan spirit in Azeroth grow, I was lost as to what else all their buildings and things were for etc. With you showing and describing their history, I was wowed (pun intended)with how much went on about their history [Lore]. Thanks! What a great story and story teller!

Love your content, awesome to finally starting to really understand all the lore. Just one remark: It's pretty awful to see these bosses (in this video for example the old gods) being one-shot by you. Not sure how much footage you have and from how long back, but it would be awesome if you could show footage from the actual epic raid boss fights while you talk about them!

wait so first off i thought y'shaarj was located in the southern parts of azeroth aka what would be pandaria when the sundering happened and second was the well of eternity actually the life energy of y'shaarj or is it something made by the titans after he was ripped out ? im a little confused if the well was made by the titan or if its the literal energy of the old god ?

  • @ZanathKariashi

    @ZanathKariashi

    4 жыл бұрын

Yhaasjarj was more in the center, but when they tore him out, pieces of him fell back down where pandaria was, and carried some latent corruption with them that became the Sha. They destoryed most of them but kept a few pieces to study, which unbeknownst to them also allowed the Sha to continue to exist, though with the remains contained, they were barely a whisper until they could feed on negative emotions and grow strong enough to possess people. Full manifestations were rare at first until Curse of Flesh began to spread through Pandaria and all the titan creations became more emotional and more easily corruptible. The Well of Eternity was basically a giant band-aid of the Titans made by pooling some of their arcane power to plug the hole that ripping Y'shaarj out of Azeroth caused, until the titan's wound could heal, with a lake eventually forming over top of it and becoming energized with all that latent power.

Nobbel, is it possible that Azeroth is a natural Fel Titan? I mean, apart from all the insanity and chaos going up on her surface, the bursts of flame which precede the appearance of Azerite on the surface have the same model/effects as felfire does. It may be possible it's becouse keepers themselves. We know Titans altered other planets, but we don't know if they constructed keepers there. Chronicles 2 proves they don't need to make them, Aggramar ordered Draenor just with a rock.

Does something like that exist for the World of Warcraft, or is just just vague "10 thousand years ago" and major events like the War of the Ancients are used as a determination of time?

That is a nice coverage of titan settlements. The titans have an awesome storyline. I wish WoW would do more with it. I haven't got into this stuff much. I did the experiment in Un Goro Crater and that is about it. Ugh! Come on, guys in the comments. I am not referring to everybody, just certain people. Stop looking up the skirt of a titan woman, you perverts! That is so immature. It is best not to even try. A large metallic woman like that could effortlessly crush any playable fleshy humanoid.

Nobbel I just realized and I am wondering if it’s possible that the boy king three lies thing is truly coming true. In one of Agomata(the guy in Slithus with notes) notes he said that first of the boy king’s lies had been said. Could this be referring to when Andulin gave a speech saying that they beat the legion for good? Because that is technically a lie. We beat the legion but no for good since the demons are still around just scattered or because that we failed to kill sargaras. Now if this is true could the second lie be when Anduin says in the newest trailer that announced the release date that “only one of us wanted this war” which is actually definitely a lie.

This "idea" or however should it be called is a common believe amongs the speculation community. 1st lie is "we did the imposible, we defeated the Legion!" 2nd could be probably "only one of us wanted this war," but it is "uncertain" if he talks to Sylvanas or to Greymane (yes, the cinamatic shows Sylvanas, but it could be missdireciton). If you are interested in this kind of stuff, I recommend you checking Pyromancer (the tinfoil elemental) and Accolonn. These 2 have good ideas of what could be going on, but beware - Pyro's theories are sometimes crazy AF.

So Nobble, wasn’t the reason for the wound on Azeroth, because the Old God was tangled in the earth and ripping it out caused the wound? If so then why didn’t the titans just kill them by crushing their bodies or something like that. Killing and not ripping. That’d take care of a lot of our issues without killing Azeroth.

Paladin Hersk [Games and Stuff] because their corpse would still spill out corruption. Yogg saron’s blood can still corrupt the mindless slaves in icecrown where they mine saronite. So image an old god like a tic. You have to rip it out completely otherwise azeroth gets lyme disease

No, Im assuming your talking about the maelstrom/Well of Eternity which was actually caused by the titans ripping Y'shaarj out of the world which left an open wound as the old gods rooted themselves really deep into the world. If they pulled out any more old gods they risk more permanent harm, if not the death of the world soul inside of Azeroth.

Knowing it's the very forest of lordaeron that whispered the name of arthas and that at least 1 of the corpses of yogg's lieutenants was buried there... creepy

*** Potential Alpha SPOILERZ! *** .. .. .. In the intro-event that just got released on PTR we are sent into a Titan facility called Chamber of Heart with the similar heartbeat as we had with Magnis in Scholazar Basin. Talking to a stunned Maiden of Vitality it says: "WARNING: Multiple containment breaches registered. Recommended Expurgation of following facilities: Uldum, Uldorus, Ulduar, Uldir, Uldazi, Uld... Uld... Uld... Uld..." So. Uldum is on Kalimdor south of Tanaris, Ulduar is Northrend, Uldir is the new Raid. But what are Uldorus and Uldazi? Is Uldorus a Titan version of Antorus? And no mention of Uldaman..

one of them is probably the Tomb of Sargeras, albeit, long fallen out of use by the titans, since according to Aegwhin, even the Night Elves were unaware of the Facility buried even deeper under their temple.
