I think you are 100% correct about colors being the indicators of influence. Azerite itself was a hint, with the pure gold of Azeroth contaminated by the blue of the Titan's version of Domination Magic. When we see the world soul, it looks like a sun of gold caged in a nimbus of blue. And all this because the Titan's have seen the future and influenced the timelines so that the only one that can exist is the one in which they succeed, hence whey they likely have control of Nozdormu (blue eyes instead of the yellow of his flight).

Pretty much my thought, expanding out further the world soul saga will likely be us fighting for the independence of azeroth to be a sort of different being , separate, rather than a titan or void lord.

Appreciate the large pump of content before the New Year!

Amanthul allowed Eonar/Freya to experiment with life on Azeroth in exchange for her binding magics that keep Azeroth asleep. She knew that the chaos of life would cloud Amanthul's vision of the inevitable future: that life would eventually claim sovereignty over and free Azeroth.

Audio drama was so good, thanks for bringing attentiont to that. Hope they do more of these!!

Think we will ever find out what happened to Argus, AFTER going to the Shadowlands and hitting the Arbiter? Did we ever find out? I mean wouldn't the Jailor have wanted to use such vast power more than just taking out the Arbiter? Maybe something we will go back to? Maybe later on Argus reforms in the Shadowlands becoming an issue? Maybe he just dispersed like Arthas?

If I remember correctly he was put into the body of the new arbiter. Then we had to destroy him and somehow that made it necessary for Pelagos to become arbiter and fuse with the now depleted body of the new arbiter.

Yeah, in the zereth mortis campaign the dreadlords try to make a new arbiter with Argus’ soul but we kill it. So Argus is super dead and his soul is in the super shadowlands now

And we'll find out it has always been the plan of the Super Jailer to have Argus die in the Shadowlands so his soul can kickstart everything in the Super Shadowlands.

@@eggshapedisraelioperative6317 To be fair, we have bigger problems then Super Sylvanas, such as the super grind for super anima to keep the super borrowed power systems fueled!

I think that ultimately, Azeroth will reject the Titans and choose not to awaken and rise as a new deity - she will remain as she is, the Worldsoul, sustaining our world indefinitely and rejecting all the cosmic powers efforts to exploit her.

I think she is not needed to sustain the world, seeing that Draenor allegedly didn't have a world soul. And when it's awakened, I think she can leave the world without shattering it.

@@starshinewindlord2716 more likely it would shatter anyway and the soul would die. And maybe it did happen. I think the info that Draenor didn't have world soul might have come from sources outside of the game, unreliable sources, or both.

@@ShadowTheHedgehogCZ Given how unreliable in real-world terms some of the leadership at Blizz turned out, I think you're right. I am glad when they leave out minute-to-minute details on some backstory, because that flexibility lets our player imagination have some time in the game too.

love these videos, bell. They're great to listen to when I'm worldquesting after all this time away.

Uldis is one of those places that works so well for me in terms of worldbuilding. Massive and shrouded in mystery, not explained by exposition spouting NPCs. If one day they uncover it's purpose I hope they leave enough other/new mysteries around to keep the world truely undiscovered.

Now this was really cool video. Must have taken a lot of effort to make just like many of others.

Bellular always love to trigger players' PTSD. The Fel Reaver sound and now the SL cinematic 🤣

I would argue with you @Bellulargaming in the boss fight against Argus, he splits into 7 "blue constellars" Constellars themselves are mysterious and we've seen few so far, once in the realm of desth, one in ulduar, and one ferrying in Helya's domain, but they are something of an order dynasty. Azeroth's world soul may be yellow or gold but on the outside there is a blue Hue, maybe loke Argus might be green mainly of death but still has that blue constellar form, like Arcane. Like Argus, Azeroth still has a majority Titan Influence and the Titans might be the main bad guy in the end. I can see Amanthul killing the rest of the pantheon like Freya and stealing their power to become whole again, the end goal is balance with the light, with void, with death, with order, with life, to create a cohesive peace, not to end every fabric that makes up our reality.

I think the best way to describe how the Titans see us is as the Immune system of somebody they'd care about. Cause to a degree we work as Azeroth's immune system from how the titans would see us.

All these years and I still don't understand why when stabbed in silithus the only places azeroth bled were Zandalar, Kul Tiras, and random islands only tryhards went to started bleeding. that's like getting stabbed in the chest and only your hands and fingers start bleeding. sorry mention of the blood brought this back to mind. the story in wow is so fractured I'm not sure even Chris can get it all to make sense.

I am reminded of a quote from The Boondock Saints. The word you're looking for is Symbolism. The use of symbols to convey meaning vs Symbology, the study of interpreting symbols.

there has always been a Ring around the Logo, just not Another Ring Floating around it. so if you check every expansions logo it shows a circle Rune around the Planet.

Next the Aspects are actual family, and that's all they need to beat their enemies in the end. Regardless of me joking, I am interested in seeing where the story goes next - for better or worse.

I expect *both* parts of that quote to be true, that the world is a prison and she will set us all free. The Last Titan will likely see her return with the reunification of all the other elves, probably with some bit of knowledge that her years (perhaps centuries of subjective time for her) of wandering the Maw uncovered.

Sylvanas was right by accident, as she knew nothing of this. If she knew, it would be only because Zovaal told her. But if he did, wouldn't Sylvanas then tell us once her soul was mended and she tried to redeem herself? Would she not think it important to tell us about the imprisoned world soul and what Zooval wants to do with it? Seems rather important. I'd say she knew nothing, and she was only talking about how the world of the living is a prison, or how life in general is a prison because it's unjust. But she never ever talked about the world soul stuff to any character on screen from what I can recall.

I think Azeroth is, like in the cosmological map, "Reality" itself. It is the most powerful one but the most passive one as well, and is only contained by the Balance of the cosmological forces. I guess once we have an expansion where one cosmological force overpowers all, we'll get to the "End Times" of WoW.

i've long held that the world souls are neutral, until discovered/touched by whatever faction which then starts bending the shaping that entity to their ways. they only become arcane titans if the arcane titans claim dibs and are able to complete the 'adoption process' :)

I missed Bellular's lore videos! Glad I caught this one. It made me slightly consider cranking up my WoW account again. I do wonder (and hope) that Blizzard is taking resources and creating a NEW type of game that will embody the best elements of WoW, but with revamped graphics (can be done) and a new story arc. Warcraft has had it's time....

We should use 'Order' as a verb to refer to the phenomenon you describe the Titans doing to beings like the dragons and Azeroth itself. Could you argue the Titans 'Ordered' the Trolls into Night Elves?

I've got an alternate theory that might explain the Titan stasis rings: they're actually being used to keep the world from completely breaking apart after Azeroth awakens and bursts forth from it. Basically stabilizing the world so its mortal races still have a home after she's "born."

What if Uldaz is the titan name for the Tomb of Sargeras? And the unknown facility is under Dorn in the TWW expansion? Since we can assume the titans and their lackyes didn't get to the other side of azeroth, so they couldn't build a facility there.

I haven't played World of Warcraft, or really kept up with the story since Warlord's of Draenor, so you seem like the right kind of person to ask this question of. Where is a good place I can go read up on the story lines for each expansion, and get thoroughly caught up on the last decade (and in reality, at this point I might as well just start at the beginning of World of Warcraft) of story and lore?

I was always under the impression that Argus' soul went to the Shadowlands because the Mawsworn Kyrian collected his soul.

I'm telling you man... Azeroth was a captured void lord they partially succeeded in converting to their order!!! They imprisoned Azeroth to do this, then the old gods tried to free Azeroth under their rule as the Black empire, but ultimately failed!

I just want to know if that one weird void coin from the adventure guide is going to come into play

Is Azeroth really a titan, or something more related to the black empire as its original ruler, imprisoned and hidden inside the planet? I wouldn't surprised if Azeroth was the most powerful old god ever created or most ancient demon.

But, stabilizing into what? That is the big question. The Old Gods failed to learn the secret. Sargeras met too much resistance and failed. What will Azeroth become?

I have a question. Can we even consider this hypothesis of colors and magic? The monks also have green magic and yet they don’t seem to be connected to the realm of death.

12:03 i believe the colour of the last titan logo is hinting at the time dragons and i assume we will get something like the ragnarok of odins pantheon where everything is doomed be repeated in all eternity. the bronze swarm will be responsible for the timelopp OR try to fight against the timeloop but the knowledge of the timeloop is so dangerous that they try to hide the circumstances or even they are unaware and its just a teaser. what do you think? will we get an ragnarok that resets reality and loops us back to the starting point to repeat our mistakes or worse are we traveling back and will be responsible for the doom ourself? would be funny if in the end some great heroes are send back in time and end up as the aspects of reality we know today. death, life, and so on being the ascended versions of azeroths heroes back in time and unable to change the history would be epic.

..... I think this is why I liked MISTS and DF, cause its easy enough to follow inside its own expansion

The thought of the Pantheon being evil completely sucks.

I feel like Azeroth is a titan but an elemental/primal titan. This might be why no one has controlled her so far because she ‘is’ primal magic. Hence the primal dragons etc. so whoever (cosmological force) can ‘control’ her they would be unbelievably powerful

I really dosen't like all this Titans are bad stuff. I mean last time we saw them they literally sacrificed themselves to protect us and Azeroth from Sargeras. They even revived us when Argus kill us all. He is locked away with Sargeras almost like a prison guard. But, if Sargeras is released Illidan could be as well.

Small Detail: Aegwynn defeated the Avatar of Sargeras in the wastes of Dragonblight. She only imprisoned it in the temple of the moon afterwards.

I left just before Lich King and was thinking about checking things out again & I've been at it for an hour, no more pvp servers? Very confusing what expansion I'm supposed to choose. If I get the newest expansion, do I get the previous expansion? I'm kinda about to say screw it & looking at your game play video, I don't see much of an improvement in graphics since 2008 which seems insane.

The "Evil Titans" plot just isn't working for me. I mean Ulduar hinted at them being less than magnanimous but I think making them out right dictators or Jailers won't work.

Wait wait... Did Shadowlands establish that the red light that broke the mechanical Arbiter was soul of Argus? I don't remember any such explanation being given. I only faintly remember that it was claimed at least once that it was Denathrius who broke the Arbiter. Or at least "caused the fraught", which i always asuumed was this red light crushing into Arbiter.

17:20 That is false. Velen never knew what a Titan was before Sargeras arrived. The planet Argus had "NOT" been ordered by titans at all. The facility in antorus was built by Sargeras. The only powerful beings that had visited Argus before Sargeras that we know of are cosmic team Light, with the atam'al crystals. Argus was bound either by Sargeras or by Light.

How can Azeroth be the last titan if Sargarus is still around? Maybe the rings are Sargerus's prison and they are purifying him of fel.

Question: Didn't Illidan stay with titan pantheon at the end of legion to fulfill a untold destiny?

What if Azeroth is indeed a Prison and Sargeras was trying to free his kin by plundging the sword in it. All we know about Titans being born from planets could be fake and made up so we would fear azeroth exploding and keeping what's inside locked at all costs. (though then the old gods coming to corrupt the seeds would make no sense).

The Arcanonomicon shares a bunch of aesthetics with the last with of Sepulcher. Just saying.

I am confused. I thought the next expansion is called "war within"?
