Altered Carbon Season 1 was absolute perfection. Never came across a tv series I loved more, before or since.

Yeah, at the end of the episode it resumes and Quell “finishes” the story.

In next season he fell to an enemy sword and died before her eyes. Killed by the same thing that killed the princess the first time

That sounds more like Reminiscence: "Tell me a story. One with a happy ending." "No such thing as a happy ending. All endings are sad, especially when the story was happy." "Then tell me a happy story, but end it in the middle."

I loved this show and especially love Tak and Quells story. So glad season two explored it!! Miss Joel but Anthony Mackie did a wonderful job as Tak and of course Will did too!!

Ah I think we all miss Joel :) His script somehow nailed the Tak character. Anthony Mackie did it justice though. I love the continuation of Poe as well, I think I'd miss him if he wasn't in season 2!
