Clausen is really a tragic character. He's still grieving his brother and he's clearly really good at his job but just hopelessly underinformed about what's really going on. Then this shit happens right in front of him.

It's kind of worse too because at the end of the day, his story isn't resolved. With how the two timelines are wiped, Clausen really doesn't get closure. Without Ulrich being there to harass Regina, she never meets "Alexander", which would have lead to him traveling to Winden and to the powerplant, which doesn't exist in the Origin World. A lot of characters after the timelines are wiped don't really get closure or resolution, but at the same time, their lives could be less miserable as a result.

Nah , because you are used to this childish tv show you find DARK so complex , I'm used to this kind of series , anime , video games so i completely understand the series without confusion it is interesting . but it is something completely unique , the concept has been used before .

@cc_09 c Yeah that makes more sense. After watching the best of the best in the drama genre (Breaking Bad, now Dark, etc.), other mainstream dramas just seem tame or less thought out in comparison. But that doesn't change my perception on anime or sitcoms, which are a completely different genre.

Well I didn't notice that the letter which Hannao(young Noah) gives to Adult Jonas(just before the apocalypse) is the same latter that Martha from other world left in Jonas's Room(1888) after she gives him the god particle and vanishes(as per Eve's direction)

Because it wasn't caused by the barrel simply being opened. It was caused by a god particle being activated exactly 99 years beforehand by Martha & Magnus in 1921 as well as the same particle in the powerplant exactly 33 years in the future by Elizabeth. That's why in World 2, Aleksandr opens the barrel himself; there was literally no reason at all to suspect that opening the barrel would cause the apocalypse as he was completely unaware about all the time travel and last cycle prophecy shenanigans going on.

Ya others are dead but Charlott survives cause she touches Elezabeth (the future daughter) she goes to the future. Meanwhile in the current time all the people in the Bunker survives and Peter and Young Elezabeth looks for Charlott but never finds her.
