Even sadder is the oppression that the people of Australia are experiencing. 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇦🇨

We were Free people of no King who mixed with our Scottish travelers and the local bands of the Rocky mountains. I much prefer that the climate changes and the Canadian government is destroyed by an ice age and then in 1,000 years we can try civilization again because you and me being the highest consuming humans on the planet while our government has more international mining companies than any other country in the world and cheers on the destruction of indigenous governments in Bolivia that cause genocide as recently as last year it is not worth it this piece of s*** experiment needs to die. I am born and raised in downeast Maine and currently live there now. I don't blame Native Americans for their anger towards us as this country's land beauty here is phenomenal. And I agree that there has been irreparable damage to this land. Yes, there should be more recognition of Native Americans (and other ethnic groups) in the history of North America, both US and Canada. But the one thing that we all need to stop is the blaming of who did who wrong. At this stage of history, it doesn't matter. I am no more responsible for what my ancestors may or may not have done as living Native Americans (and other ethnicgroups) have the responsibility of what their ancestors may or may not have done. Stereotypes on all sides need to stop. This is the only way to achieve peace between all ethnicities.

But the Walustik was a waterway inside currently State of Maine inlands. Goes through Limestone Caribou Fort Fairfield Prequel Isle and the whole allagash in Aroostook County. This other river is called Aroostook River today. We the people called her walustik or beautiful river also. Not to contradict this very important history (Aroostook county natives often referred to ourselves as Acadians in fear about our children realizing they are an Indian Metis or mixed and being discriminated against by people.)

Though both were Calvinists - the Pilgrams settled 1st in New England. And though in spite of their ignorant actions. The generosity of the local Natives saved "the Pilgrams". The Puritans arrived later; under the auspicious of the Massachusetts Bay Company. Their John Winthrop, thanked the Natives, by hunting them down; including killing "King Phillip", the Son of the Man that saved the Pilgrams. Of course, Puritans also persecuted their own i.e. "the Salem Witch Trials" btw - the actual site of the Trials, is not in today's Salem. But in an adjacent town - Danvers (Danvers was also the site picked by Benedict Arnold, to organize & prepare for what was to become, the failed American Invasion of Canada.)

  • @RoaroftheTiger

@Sarah Hodgins yep, both were Calvinist sects. But history tells me the Puritans (who essentially usurped what power the Pilgrams once had) were the most cruel & blood thirsty of the two. Remember as part of the Massachusetts Bay Co. venture; the Puritans under John Winthrop were driven less by Religious Freedom; But more so, by greed & monetary profit.

Danvers was actually Salem Village where most of the Witch Trial accusers lived. I am descended from 3 of the murdered victims and a descendant of a juror. What was going on with the witch trials is that there was personal, political and religious strife in the area. Then the accusers started acting out, which gave people a chance to point fingers at those who were deemed the cause of the misfortune in the area.

The God of Israel chose this land as a beacon for His Word to be spread throughout the earth. America is a covenant nation, as Israel is, and America falls into the trajectory of ancient Israel. If you want to hear the truth about America, read Jonathan Cahn’s books. The Harbinger is the eye opener. Native Canada is part of my ancestry, the Métis. Yes. There is a greater story unfolding across the centuries and the continents, and even now -- Many natives, like St. Katari herself, spiritually perceived Jesus and accepted Him. -- Surely they learned that some of the immigrants were genuinely good (even if a bit silly in their habits), and others were self-serving, just as their own people had both kinds. The harm done came not so much from the badness of the immigrants, but more from the power of their iron weapons and tools, their writing, and their sheer numbers. And no doubt from their narrow-minded cultural attitudes. And their diseases.

@Sarah Hodgins ------------------------ As for now, I am not sure what could or should be done...any suggestions? ----------- Thanks youtube, a lot more really good history series productions, like this one, are coming to light. Which we never saw in our main street media, which served us often loaded sanitized versions. Which is a pretty good start. Most of them are demonetized, and rely on Patreon customer support. A good ole fashion democratic process.
