You've done a good job at explaining this. Seed finding is quite complex, seed reversal even more so. It kind of reminds me of some of the early seed finding I did for bedrock.
@Kunai7
Жыл бұрын
Thank you! My goal for this video was to bring the excitement of seed finding to a wider audience of Minecraft viewers, I think its an exciting topic but some videos out there on youtube can be a little TOO complicated for new Minecrafters!
Bro there’s someone that reuploaded this video on Tik tok and split it across 5 parts and got a total of 320k+ views which I think is stupid considering this video(when I’m watching this) hasn’t even reached 2k Great video, I loved how you explained everything and also the editing was great, needs more recognition though. You’ve earned a new sub I’m editing this 12 days after I made this comment, thanks for the likes and replies but I’d like to add a few points since some people in the replies *cough* itstekton *cough* can’t get this. 1- Reuploading and gaining views is theft, they will make money from reuploading a video which the original creator could have benefited from. 2- It’s public domain sure, but so is everything on the internet, if you sell the Mona Lisa for 30k (an example that was in the replies) you are gaining money from something that is NOT yours. That is ALSO theft. Just because it’s on the internet doesn’t mean it’s fine to reupload/steal. 3- It does not matter if they credit, because in the end, people don’t want to switch over to KZread, search the username credited and then look for said video. People on Tik tok would rather watch all the parts instead of switching platforms. People don’t care about who it is to begin with, they just want to watch said video. 4- People who reupload can be sued, it is quite literally ILLEGAL. Also an update on the Tik tok guy, he now has a collective of 11.6M VIEWS across his 5 parts, you see how this is a problem?? Also their @ is @robin__2005__ So yeah, in general just don’t take someone’s video and post it somewhere else.

This shows the power of the internet imo. It's pointless to know the seed and location. It's just the background for a painting in the game. Yet the internet decided "nope, this is important to us!" and went and found it anyway. :P

The fact that you made an 8 minute, incredibly captivating and detailed documentary is honestly sort of a work of art. The pacing was perfect. The details were condensed, they didn't waffle on, and yet did not leave anything out. You built a narrative, created tension, and brought it to a satisfying conclusion. Thank you for making a video about our project! We'd just like to mention though that a lot of what you said in the video was wrong or inaccurate, including not only the methods mentioned but especially the timeline of events. Probably the most major inaccuracy is towards the end. The recreation was started from the very beginning, not as a different attempt, and everything we (and andrew) did was done based on the recreation, none of it would've been possible without it. We also never gave up on the flower method, we just took too long to finish it. Also the coordinates we found using clouds were correct, it's not true that they turned out wrong, and also time spent playing was not useful, that didn't help improve the coordinates. We really appreciate creators making videos about our projects, but it's even better when they are correct. :D Feel free to reach out to us on our Discord if you ever want to cover any of our other projects, we'd be happy to help you with covering these stories!

What’s the seed? Has anyone built the skull yet?
This is not (kinda) related to the vid but I also once accidentally discovered 2 seeds that were identical except the other one was a snow biome. This was waayy back then, probably around 2014-2016, I was OBSESSED with the thought of making a Minecraft Cake Factory. Because of that, I used the words "cake factory" as a seed once and it spawned me between a swamp and a plains biome with a village nearby. I kept using that seed in survival or creative mode to build my cake factories. I had shared that seed to a classmate and said that there was no village nearby when he spawned and it was a snow biome. Turns out he typed "cake factory" but had double space between the words. I tried it myself and it was exactly the same seed but no village and it was snowing. Pretty much every year, I visit the seed "cake factory" over and over again to see if it's still the same but of course, it kept changing because of the updates. The last time I visited the seed with no snow, it looked the same but the village was not near the spawn but only a few hundred blocks away. Oh yeah, this was also the same seed where we experienced "Herobrine" shit. 😂 That's a story for another time.

Considering the fact that individual Minecraft worlds are several times larger than the Earth itself and that the screenshot could have been anywhere outside of the spawn location, you would have to do so much coding just to narrow it down to those blocks in that formation... I can't even imagine how long the code would have to be...
