Karl is lovely. I had no idea he was Twitch's top streamer though. Interesting. I think people just enjoy the positive break from the insanity of the rest of the internet. He's so wholesome and genuine. Nice to see good people succeed.

I think what makes Karl stand out is his personality -- he's soft and very giggly all the time. I think most people who make it big on twitch do so because of their personalities, and because of the community they cultivate. Whereas youtube is partially personality-driven content (+editing and production etc), twitch is almost entirely personality-driven content, if that makes sense. And the people who enjoy watching streamers are primarily looking for that sort of thing and a community they can feel a part of.

Wow just a few minutes into this and I see now how much Karl was prepped for where he is now. Two years of streaming to no one sounds unimpressive but he probably grew so much and learned how to be on camera because of that! He looks like an overnight success on Twitch because of Mr Beast, but this video shows that’s not the case. Also, an unspoken aspect of what contributed to his popularity…he’s likable. In just the few first minutes of this video, you can see the only reason opportunities went well for him is not just Bc he was prepared, but he also is very likable . His FRIEND recommended him the editor job. CHRIS liked him. DREAM liked him. Karl is friendly and likable which is important to take note of too.

This is one of the best videos I've seen. When Johnny came on I was like, how many subs do these guys have and why haven't I ever been on their channel. Glad I randomly searched where Karl came from. Nicely done guys!

It's really one of those success story where you truly feel proud for the accomplished person but at the same time it's sad to see and know that there are millions and millions of people's out there who seek comfort and happiness and a sense of belonging on total stranger on online platforms.

I only started watching Karl's streams a few months ago, but something that sticks out a lot to me is his generosity towards his friends; I always see him gifting so many subs and being super supportive. Honestly, it's insane to see his grind on twitch when you know he also has a full time job. Sometimes he looks so tired and worn out during all those late night streams due to the lack of sleep, but this is why everyone often says he's one of the most hardworking people they know. I have so much respect for Karl.

A likable and charismatic personality, passion for their respective goal but at the same time they also need to take opportunities that come their way, (like karl did by signing up as an editor for Jimmy's brother and then slowly solidifiing his place in mr best crew), because you never know maybe one of them decisions might change your life forever.

Every time when I’m sad or anything I just go and watch Karl streams it always makes me a hundred times happier and even when I have exams and I don’t want to study I go and watch him while studying that how I don’t get boring and it’s actually works he made my life so much better thank you Karl

I love Karl and the whole beast team. Top notch humans right there. I also love saying “COME ON CARL” from the movie the campaign so that’s fun

2:35 I can completely relate. I remember getting a call from a friend back in the fall of 2017 who got a job out in Los Angeles and asking me if I wanted to move out there to be roommates. I had a solid job at a company I was moving up in, but I just reflexively told him right then, "Yeah lets do it", told my boss that day and moved out-of-state two months later. Zero regrets. Sometimes the best decisions you make, even if big ones, are made quickly. If you have to waffle a lot on things, there are possibly too many downsides to the change.

I was introduced to Karl by watching mrbeast, I actually had just been introduced to mrbeast at the end of 2021, love that whole group and definitely are inspiring.

I don’t think (some) people realize that being a KZreadr is hard work, I just started and it took me 5 hours to edit and upload my very first video. An hour to upload because I wanted it to be perfect. They are insane and very talented

I never understood having a comfort streamer until I started watching Karl. He’s so incredibly kind and funny! You can tell he has a good heart.

This legit made me emotional. I’ve been watching Mr Beast for years and I’ve followed every single one of his friends stories. I remember Karl’s first video and how his bromance with Chris was very wholesome. I loved their dynamic and that’s how Karl stuck with me. He’s a super cool kid and I’m happy all these good things are coming to him. He’s worked hard for it.

I don't know much about gaming and all I have seen Karl in Mr Beast as a cameraman, a contestant and as a friend. He is awesome, he laughing cheers me up every time.

I didn't realize how much he has hustled before joining the MrBeast team permanently! He has done the work and I didn't know that. I appreciate him so much more now, if possible. Thank you for telling his origin story! I love Karl. He's such a likable kid!

This was just a pure pleasure of a video to watch and the Johnny Harris cameo was inspired. One thing I also really appreciate about your videos is how you're developing them by incorporating some of the ideas / approaches of other creators.

The most important aspect you guys missed, is that he always has this never ending fresh humour. There are some jokes that stay in your head for a day or two, and he is also a literal mood changer

I fucking love Karl so much! He truly is such a down to earth, humble, honest and wholesome guy. I've been keeping eye on him for around 2 years now and I've always been really rooting for him and I am so proud of him for his dedication to his work/craft. I really hope he goes as far as possible and straight to the top in the future. He deserves it, honestly.

Wow I have been on KZread for so long but as I’m not a gamer I had never heard of Karl or Dream I’m so amazed that there is a whole world and the role playing storyline he did in mine craft is so interesting!!

Karl to me isn't just a streamer or apart of Mr. Beast he is the reason I'm alive today. Like actually I had tried then I got s notification that Karl went live and the I watched his stream and something just hit me that being alive isn't that bad then I did everything I could get the pills out of my system and it worked. But Karl Is an amazing person and he deserves the world

I think Karl’s humor is very aligned with tiktok and gen Z humor so I think he’ll be long term successful due to his audience being a lot of gen Z people and young people who like the spontaneous humor and awkward humor,, especially because this generation knows so much about technology and will help him thrive even more due to their connections and understanding of the internet
