Brother Al Green is my hero. Man, oh man he's so phenomenal. His classics is breathtaking. Love and Happiness is excellent and his Keep me Crying excellent too. Big up to you Brother Al Green - a soul and gospel singer and healer.
His song Love & Happiness was heard in movies such as Love & Basketball, Madea's Family Reunion and Menace II Society

I will NEVER forget seeing the Legend Al Green live in concert around 2009/2010 and he was singing and performing his heart out and leaned over put his hands on his knees and slung a bead of sweat off his head into the crowd! I can’t remember two weeks ago but I damn sure recall that clearly!!!

Such a talented man. Blessed with a magnificent gift, but lived a life marred with misfortunes and devastation.
I know many of y'all don't Remember he did a song with AL B Sure back in 1990. Cause I remember it use to be play on B.E.T on Video Soul.
When that happened people started calling him Al Grits instead of Al Green… Savagery at its finest..

I still listening his many songs. His music are soul timeless.
I was a young girl when some stuff was heard but it didn't get play in my parents home. The only story I remember concerned some hot grits.
