Smokey is my all time favorite. Im 39 and discovered his music in my mid 20s and became an instant fan and a fan of soul music as well. I then went on a mission to try to listen to everything hes ever put out, with or without the Miracles and etc. One of the Greatest Song Writers of all time easily.

Loved Smokey Robinson since I was 10 years old and now I am 73. Use to see him when he came to Cleveland Ohio at Leo's Casino. Even used to write poems and try them to send him to his fan mail but I know he never received them.

They showed the uptown in North philly was just as popular as the Apollo back then of course uptown is closed down sadly but still the building stands at its original place before covid hit they were working on a plan to refurbish her but I believe the person passed hopefully someone will eventually step up to bring this historic building back to life

But when the Primes didn't work out, Paul and Eddie joined Otis Williams' five-man group (the Distants) and they became the Temptations when they went to Motown in 1961.

I love Smokey Robinson, but how does he mention Taylor Shift but not Teena Marie!!!!???? He has recorded with Teena, they have a long history from the Motown days, she serenaded him with two songs at a huge celebration of his work, and he attended her funeral services in which he sang a song he composed just for Teena!
