The Story of a Lamborghini Miura SV

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Follow the incredible story of the Lamborghini Miura SV. Produced by the famed Italian automaker from 1966 to 1973. It was introduced in 1965 at an auto show in Geneva, and it’s estimated that about 760 Miuras were produced during that period. Lamborghini Miura is considered as the first supercar with a rear mid-engined two-seat layout.
In 2016, Miura celebrated the 50th anniversary and John Temerian had a chance to talk with Lamborghini Legends - Joe Nastasi and Jim Kaminski about the significance of the Miura in the automotive world. Joes Nastasi stated that exactly the design is what makes Lamborghini Miura so special. Back in the 60s and 70s, it was considered ahead of its time and the Miura is still one of the best-looking cars of all time.
John Temerian also will take a drive with the 1972 Lamborghini Miura SV. This particular Miura has remained original - it has original glass, entire interior and wheels. Also, he will talk about his family’s passion for Lamborghini Miuras and share his story of how he became the owner of one.
If you want to know more about Lamborghini Miura or other supercars, check out our website wearecurated.com/ and if you want to see more videos about incredible supercars subscribe our KZread channel - Curated TV by John Temerian
Produced, Edited and Directed by Albert Manduca. Huge thank you to Andrew Romanowski and Lamborghini for their support of the Miura 50th.

I don't know why I am just finding out about this channel now. I legit would stare at the glass window at your showroom in Miami weekly at odd hours of the night (2am Tuesday). Just to catch a glimpse of your insane inventory. Keep up the good content :D

Fascinating that he specifically mention the original shifter screws being in place (2:21). And then when he drives it there are different screws. (3:59). LOL. It's all in the details. Beautiful cars.

3:57 Rev Gauge shows idle or is not working at all - while you can hear engine sounds revs higher during acceleration. sounds of engine doesnt fit to the pictures. if its just a video-editing thing or gauge isnt working properly, you only can guess it.

I'm 53 now and in 1986 @ 17 years old there was a body shop that had a Lamborghini lp400 out front (blue) for $25,000 and a Miura along the side of the building (orange) for $15,000. He also had a fiberglass 308 for like $10k. 😫

there are a lot of car models in the world. it's expensive, it's cheap, but no car can be as cool as a miura, if a movie was going to be made, that car could be a miura. in other cars in your showroom, Miura immediately makes its difference, it looks like a bullet is ready to be driven into the barrel.

Double clutching. I dunno if this does, but older cars had a square gear box and had to clutch it twice to get it around. Check Out the green '68 mustang in the movie 'Bullitt' car chase scene.

Look at the lines of it, perfect in any angle. You can not say a single point could be better. And park a couple of today's Lambos (with stupid names) side by side, they look like they're about to build the Voltran. So soulless, so exagurated, They don't look like an Italian design. They look like they're especially built for stupid Arab princes and kinda spoiled people This beauty is ashamed of them and blushed, that's why it is red...
