The Distorted Photo addon for Sadako is directly from the original 1998 movie! A group of teenagers watched the tape together while on a cabin getaway as a dare, then took that group photo in front of the cabin. All of the teenagers in the photo died exactly 7 days later at the same time. Reiko, who is investigating these deaths, gets the group photo developed, and is horrified when all of the faces of the teens are warped and distorted.

I absolutely love the comedic nature of the Jill Sandwich add-on for Nemesis! Since his Mori involves him squashing heads lol. They could have given one to Wesker too. In RE2, if your search his office desk, there's a picture of Rebecca in her basketball uniform. That would make one really creepy add-on for him honestly. If I recall correctly, the photo has still never been explained to date.

It was actually explained. Wesker was just really impressed by Rebecca's skill at her age (the same way he felt about Birkin), only he ended up becoming obsessed with Rebecca to a unhealthy degree. Admiration turned stalking.

I thought the Lifeguard Whistle would belong to Heather, the other lifeguard in season 3. It's shown bloodied along with her lifeguard bag after possessed Billy kidnapped her and infected her with the mind flayer.

The Lock of Hair add-on for Myers mentions it's blonde hair. If I am not mistaken, Judith was brunette, making that probably Laurie's hair :)

I think the diamond cufflinks from Trickster are worth mentioning here. They were found on the corpse of one of his victims, a stalker of his who got too close. He gouged out the fan's eyes and replaced them with the cufflinks. "Rubbing off the blood, there is so much to be seen in the glitter."

Pyramid Head's addons are proof that the Rebirth Ending from Silent Hill 2 is the cannon ending for DBD's version of Pyramid Head and James. One of the Ultra Rare items is also part of the Rebirth Ending, and the quote from James that it has is something he says during the ending. Since this ending involves calling out to gods, it could explain how James entered The Fog, and since the ending shows James truly hasn't let go of Mary, it could explain why Pryamid Head still exists.

Don't have anything to say about the ending, but the egg addons are something you find the bosses holding after they are defeated. The two hulking monsters were very carefully holding an egg in their off hand the entire time you were fighting them.

There's no canon ending to the game, even Ito Masahiro (The guy who designed the monsters in Silent Hill 2) has said many times including recently that there's no canon ending and that was always the intention. Maybe in DBD's timeline Rebirth is the main ending, but not in the canon SH timeline.

Trickster also had during some time before being changed, an addon called "Gumi's murder",I think it was some sort of pendrive with the voice and possibly screams of a person called Gumi

I would love if Add-Ons would cosmetically change the killer. (For example: Whatever symbol on Wraith's Bell will appear on the Bell) or (For Example: Each Breath Add-On of Nurse will have a different scream when Nurse is charging her blink)

I personally think the cenobite add ons are indicative of the cenobites inability to escape, I think then when pinhead was taken, the others came after him, and they failed, that’s they the tooth has been torn from chatter and the lens is cracked

The glowing concoction could just be a glowing algae that the huntress believes is otherworldly because she has no education, but that’s just a theory

I'm pretty sure the Helicopter Stick is just a reference to Helicopters overall in RE.

Weird tho because when Chris is in a helicopter he ok RE6,7,8 Chris used a helicopter in those game and never crashed one Meanwhile Leon crashes his helicopter into a building through a subway and arrives to China in a crashing airplane Jake helicopter gets shot down by blond nemesis and he literally kick down another helicopter he climbed on (Although the last one was self defense)
