Ойын-сауық
In the first of three special October episodes of The Story Behind the Song podcast, Metric's Emily Haines discusses how the band's breakout hit "Help I'm Alive" both saved the band and helped her deal with her own stage fright. Great example of “Sometimes when things fall apart, they’re really falling together, you just can’t see it at the time.”

Well said!
Love watching Metric/Emily Haines interviews I missed for whatever reason
What a great interview. I've been lucky enough to catch Metric several times and I'm excited to see them this summer in my home town!
Omygoodness!!! Yay! Merry xmas to me early! This is the first song I ever heard Metric (and my 💞 Emily!) Hooked ever since! And f'yeah!!! Doomscroller is my favorite new song on Formentara too!!! Both my folks were teachers too...love this!
I love Emily Haines !
Fascinating interview !
Really enjoyed this.
She is a queen 😍🔥🙌🙌
will there be more tops of the best of all time from the editors?
Biggie Smalls didnt write either. He and Jay Z realized that the first time they sat down together in the studio so that Biggie could join him on a track that he liked the sound of. It was all freestyle.
I loved Metric until they decided to show their TDS.
