GOAT? Even many Americans would dispute that. Outside of the USA Steffi is generally considered to have been the greatest.

She is the GOAT, and it isn't a debate. Some of her Tennis in the last two years of her career was just as devastating and brutal as ever. Longevity + 23 Slams + All her off court achievements = GREATEST OF ALL TIME

Serena only played grandslams, never played the 250s or doubles/ mixed tournaments like Martina did. Martina Navratilova is the GOAT, showed up everywere and still won 19 singles slams, 31 doubles, 10 mixed. Total titles singles 167 doubles 175.

@@haydengnichols1275 I extremely disagree that context outside of the court matters at all when you are discussing the GOAT. When you are talking about a role model, yes that kind of context matters. But not when you are discussing who is the GOAT of a sport. I am even not going to account Serena's bad attitude on the court when it comes to the GOAT discussion.

Because if yes, that seems very exclusionary, biased and unfair to our fellow xx chromosomal humans. Being XY chromosome is a HUGE advantage physically/athletically and the science has backed that for millennia (don't be a science denier). So if this person is XY, maybe they should admit their privilege being a male XY chromosome human who choose to live as a "woman" (not as a female/xx chromosome, cuz no one can change that - again don't be a science denier) and relinquish all titles held in WOMAN's (woman here means female human, xx chromosomes) Tennis.
