Thank You Ladies. The music was beautifully and sadly perfect for the story of "Frozen Charlotte". The poem depicted the yearning and naivete' of a young woman, as well as the intense, wonderful, yet heart-wrenching and overwhelming emotions of her Heart (As a well played opera). Your imagination and art yielded a vision of the moroseness, as well as the loveliness. Well Done! More story videos Please? : )

this brought back a old memory, when i was three i found a frozen Charlotte figure in the woods behind my uncles home in Quebec, it fit in my hand it was so small, when my aunt told me the story of the doll i felt so sad that i found my old mitten and placed it in like a sleeping bad after giving it a warm bath

I had a frozen Charolette when I was an antique dealer a few years ago. It was only an inch and a half inches tall made of a ceramic with no paint on her at all. I was so tempted to keep my Charolette but the practical side of me won out so I sold her. I have regretted selling her but never more than when I watched this video.

A fasinateing history. The poem is very forlorn, feeling a trifle sad for the girl in the poem. There was a Victorian to 1930s dump near where I live and on the occasional walk I found a hand full of shippams fish paste jars very similar to those decorated. Unforchinaly they have built New houses on the sight which is very frustrating.

I love the poem about frozen Charlotte, and you read it very nicely! I've never heard of these tiny dolls coming to Western Canada, where I live. I think they only got shipped to the Eastern part of Canada (Ontario, and Quebec), and the United States, back in the nineteenth century. They look rather cute, but not the sort of doll you could play with.

Lovely! Great idea. Just a suggestion as I work with glass sometimes. If you have a little dink or chipped area, cracks or breakages you can make them safe and smooth with Araldite Crystal epoxy. It’s brilliant stuff, dries totally clear and can work like an invisible glass filler if you get the hang of it. Worth trying. I just ‘rebuilt’ the top of a glass candlestick which had a chip out of it and it now looks perfect. Thanks for the vid X

I am quite surprised, at 73 years old I have never heard of "The Frozen Charlotte." Imagine my surprise after just seeing a mudlarking video last night, with someone finding a headless Frozen Charlotte In Scotland. At seeing this my curiosity was immediately peaked, I had to learn about this. I woke up earlier than usual, and while scrolling through KZread came across this video. Laughing to myself I say, "it's meant to be." I am a new subscriber.
