I couldn't help the tears, but they were such tears as should be shed, for such joy that has been brought to us through this lovely channel. In a world gone mad with pain and sorrow, they were a beacon of normalcy. May the new year find us all in a better circumstance, with renewed hope for the future.

This gave me such joy to see you bring these back to life. When I was a child I would get hand me down toys.I loved fixing them up and creating beautiful toys again so this is dear to my heart.

What a wonderful labor of love!!! Not sure if I could pick a favorite; they are all amazing. As far as a name goes, I automatically thought of Shirley Temple's Curly Top, but that's not very fancy. So how about Elizabeth, or Lizzie for short? I'm sure you all will choose a wonder name for her. Thanks as always for what you do and for sharing. Happy New Year:)

That was my late cousin's name [she died before I was born] and her name was the first word I ever spoke. Daddy is convinced that I saw her spirit in our house when I was about two years old or so. I enjoyed this video, and I'm amazed at how talented you both are with your crafting skills. I've never seen a porcelain doll put together before. Kate, you have such a sweet, calm voice and manner about you, your mother does as well. I am still somewhat new to your channel, but I'm enjoying it so keep up the good work. I like dump baby. He doesn’t look sad to me. He looks like he is very content. I remember going through woods at my great grandmothers and finding all kinds of small bottles. She was the only one who showed appreciation for them.

Happy New Year to you all. I think this has to be one of my favorite videos. There is such a peaceful spirit that emanates from you both. The music and scenery you so thoughtfully choose, for each video, just further enhances the peacefulness and serenity you both possess. I thought dump baby was precious and he did appear to be a little happier at the dump. Maybe he was happy to be whole again, with renewed purpose. Fleur, how amazing to take a broken piece of a doll’s face and make something complete and restored. To me, this video, where you’ve both taken broken bits and bobs and found beauty in recreating useful objects, with renewed life and purpose is somewhat metaphorical of 2020. In a year where many people have experienced loss and sadness and have felt a sense of brokenness, there is still beauty and joy and a hope for renewal of purpose, in the new year. Not unlike the restoration you two have given the new dump baby family. As for suggesting a name for fancy doll, I would suggest Eliza. Like Eliza Doolittle, from My Fair Lady- to go from a plain Jane to extraordinary- so too has your fancy doll been given a second chance and has been reborn.

I like your style in filming: close-ups of nature, slow moves, in/out of focus, .....it allows me to experience a sense of being there where you are. I picture myself wandering through the bushes and beaches keeping my eyes peeled for possible treasures. Your talking to each other and to your audience and audible pleasure in finding things along with the nature sounds and calming music....put me in a pleasant state of feeling connected to like/likable people. Now I feel the urge to go larking with someone equally into searching and upcycling.

I was injured in an accident a few years ago and used to go along with her to collect treasures myself since I can’t do that anymore because I’m in a wheelchair. All of your dump dolls are precious . I have a collection of antique dolls and would be proud to display any one of them amongst her peers. Throughout this year that is passing, the world as we know it has changed so dramatically. There’s been upheaval and death and sadness, loneliness and isolation. But when I look back at this past year, there is also joy and excitement. I have been on wonderful breathtaking adventures and met some fascinating people. I have walked beaches and dug through dumps, journeyed streams and rivers. I have seen beautiful scenery, the flora and fauna of a country far far away. I have found some astounding treasures and artifacts, have learned lots of interesting history of places and people. None of this would have been possible without your channel and my other mudlarking friends in the UK. You all have made this year tremendously better than it would have been. I have watched Kit and Caboodlers grow and flourish and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s impossible to view your excitement and joy without feeling it myself, and if nothing else, for that I thank you. Thank you. As for naming your lovely doll, what about Clara. Clara is a Victorian name meaning “bright and clear”. She has been rescued from the depths of darkness and dirt and is now in the light with her path clear.

Put talc or chalk on your drawer sides and runners and they will open much more smoothly 👍🏼👍🏼

When you find legs and arms separate from the body.thats because the very narrow elastic you can thread through a needle.usually is attached to arms and legs at thighs and you have movable joints 🇬🇧

I love them all. Amazing talent! My fingers and imagination just could NOT work together to craft these dolls. Such delicate work and amazing patience. You are both awesome and I just adore the mother/daughter love and respect. :). Great crafting station, it looks so cozy.

That final teaser video montage was simply stunning! I love the dolls. I think Dump Baby is my favorite, because his face is just so endearing. Stories featuring the various stages of life of the dolls before, during, and after the dump would be amazing. I envision their past being illustrated and their present being portrayed with photographs. Is anyone in your family a writer or storyteller?
