The Stone Cold Truth (Steve Austin Full Audiobook)
Ойын-сауық
Steve Austin was voted the best professional wrestler of the last ten years in a WWE fan poll. In addition to the WWE, he has wrestled in the ECW, the WCW and WWF. He has been known as The Ring Master, Superstar Steve Austin, Stunning Steve Austin and now Stone Cold Steve Austin. He has held the tag team belt in WCW and WWF, the Million Dollar Belt and the Intercontinental Championship in WWF. He won the 1996 King of the Ring, the 1997 Royal Rumble and the Larry Flynt Freedom of Speech Slammy. Steve Austin is by far the best and most exciting wrestler today. A notoriously private man, this is the book his fans have been waiting for: his story, in his own words, told in full for the first time.

I like how Rossy pronounces every single word articulate as possible.
Wrestlers calling the match always amazed me. They call it so fast on the fly that if you didn’t hear the other guy or didn’t understand what they said, I always wonder how they still usually make it seem so seamless. It’s really an art. Love this book so far. I love reading too but nothing beats stone cold reading it to me lol.

@Scott Tomjack everyone even the coolest people there are make fuck ups in life, the important thing is as he learned from it which he said he couldnt go into any details but was sorry and wished he could take it back. Different medication for things they have suffered from, or testosterone or steroid substitutes the legal form of shit. Alot of the stuff causes anger issues if your getting older your body isnt making testosterone like in your 20s earlier 30s, its common to take testosterone to be able to stay in shape i know non athletes that take it. It can have anger flashes and shit its an unfortunate side effect of it

THANK YOU! Gonna listen to this whilst I'm driving. So happy to see it's Austin himself doing it which makes it all the better.
Worked at a comic shop in San Antonio. Steve came in and bought his own action figure. I thought that was strange, but didn't say anything about it because he's Stone Cold. Figured they would just give him a bunch of his own product, but I guess not. Anyway, he was a funny guy!
This is Awesome it's like a badass bedtime story
I remember reading this book many moons ago and for some reason, it's so much more enjoyable to hear Steve and JR read it back to me all over again.
I remember my friend wearing the DTA shirt back in jr high. My other friend looked at Stone Cold mad dogging him, and said, "What you looking at fool?" and punched Stone Cold in the face. My friend was pissed and we all laughed.
Great stories told by Stone Cold. I think the only book/stories that tops this is the Mick Foley book. I could't put Mick's book down & read the whole thing in one sitting.

There’s a movie version of this released by wwe that my father and I appear in. I’m the little kid dressed as stone cold and my dad is wearing his purple brad Johnson minnesota Vikings jersey and a Vikings bandana. I was about 15 watching it for the first time and while I was looking down at my phone my little sister goes “look it’s Richie”. We had to rewind to confirm. Same here as well. I started watching WCW, WWF & WWE like crazy around June during the pandemic. Watched all the big names, watched 2-2½ hrs a night & still to this day watching wrestling. It's a hell of a lot of fun! Don't get me wrong, I like wrestling today but it's not as good as a few years ago. Loved watching Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, DDP then the Rock, HHH, Kane, the Undertaker & the rest. Now I see certain things with WWE are changing equals a cycle, a new generation. I don't like what they have with Bray Wyatt/the Fiend & now in a way Alexa Bliss is kind of solo, hopefully with future plans. Wrestle on! I guess That's the Bottom Line! WHAT!!!
Bravo Austin 👏😎 bravo well told by the greatest in my eyes!! What? What? What?🤣👍

This man's on the Mt Rushmore of wrestling period
That's why if I had my way I would start the attitude era a year earlier than it is said to have started. The main reason is I feel the birth of Stone Cold Steve Austin at least kick-started the attitude era.

That's why it makes me mad when people say he is nothing but a brawler. He's a boulder because of the situation out of his control but he favors technical wrestlers and in his early years he was a great technical wrestler. He became a brawler out of necessity due to the broken neck

Exactly. I have to constantly remind kids these days.
My biggest problem was they had eight matches. Austin always left Bret Hart dazed and confused in a street fight or a regular fight. In the matches they kept giving breath the win Stone Cold won 1 by disqualification. And he won the street fight but they never gave him the credit for that because Brett took a ride to the hospital.
What a great biography a true hero of the WWE & that's the bottom line because I said so 😁😁😁

I really wish someone would ask bread about that why Owen would make that kind of a mistake and if it wasn't a mistake it had to be on purpose I think deep down Stone Cold thought it was on purpose he'd never admit it especially after Owen died

Bedtime stories with the rattlesnake
He actually fell 78 ft the amazing thing is he tried to get to his feet after landing but of course he couldn't. Another bad thing is he hit the rope and it propelled him back up into the air and into the ring they thought it first since he fell in the ring he might survive but he hit the rope with such force it damaged him inside. I know a guy that truck from 50 ft of course he hit the ground and it literally shattered his spine he's never walked normal since. I don't want to talk about the man or I would visualize the way he walks but it certainly is not a human looking walk I mean when your spine is shattered probably lucky you survived
