Disney cannon sucks. Anyone who willingly went along with Disney throwing out the EU and supported the new Disney cannon is NOT a real Star Wars fan. Disney cannon is NOT Star Wars. The story of Star Wars had already been told in the EU books and comics. Disney should have took those and made them come to life on screen.

EU was never canon. Not even before 2012. EU were filler stories that George would have retconed whenever he feels he had a different ideas to put in film. The Clone Wars show retconed a lot of suff from EU. Anyway, you are a gatekeeper. Star Wars message was always about accepting someone's else differences. Also isn't Dave Filoni, the guy who made the Clone Wars show and was also Lucas' apprentice, approves everything before productions. Wouldn't that mean Lucas would have approved most of Disney stuff too?

@knightatyourservice7512 Lucas has said otherwise about Disney starwars. Like I said, I really don't care anymore because starwars itself is a convoluted mess anyway so... I just go with what I like, and with what makes more sense. As for starwars being about accepting everyone's differences... eh?... thats not really what it's about but that's part of it. People can like whatever they want though, I'm not losing sleep over it, but anyone who threatens the lives of others is no fan at all

The ahsoka series was my last straw. Im done. And ahsoka (was) my favorite character so im not sexist either. But they ruined her and sabine beyond repair. Im done with it. Also how do you feel about ventress “somehow returning”?

Firstly the acolyte Before it even started They said r2d2 is lesbian in the interviews and have said this is the gayest Star Wars ever and that the director is using this to tell her own gay outcoming story. They also stated that the fans are the issue and that this is no longer for the male audience and if we have an issue we are homophobic bigots and racist. It immediately turned the fan base against them don't get me wrong it isn't a perfect fan base but failing 3 major films, Ashoka not understanding how the force works and making Sabine force sensitive after huyang saying she was inferior to a youngling to suddenly throwing Ezra across a gap to a star destroyer. Keep in mind luke trained with yoda for a month before fighting Vader. Then kenobi destroying cannon multiple times, Mando 3 flopping, andor being misunderstood plus bringing back Rey and making bad batch once again destroy cannon it now takes nothing for everyone to be done with Disney Star Wars. Then the show started not a white man in sight because we are evil and then a lesbian witch tribe destroying cannon as people like plagius, sideous Darth nilius and Darth Andeddu couldn't manage to create life through the force but they can cause well they're woman. Plus due to it being the high republic and golden era of the Jedi they literally see no conflict for the entirety of that period they’re literally peace keepers but then they have a sith just running about. Also said they wanted to make white men cry. Imagine a white actor said that about black people they would be sacked. They even banned George Lucas from the set as they didn't want his bias around. If they had him around they wouldn’t of destroyed cannon making Ki-Adi-Mundi being born 40 years before his time and they changed the wookiepedia as the show was live as they realised they screwed up. This isn’t Star Wars !

Multiple times Lucas has said that Disney strayed away, FAR AWAY from his vision of starwars, so these Disney starwars fans are honestly again probably one of if not the BIGGEST issue with the fanbase. I wish Lucas had been more strict with that whole franchise though

Everyone just needs to chill out, the amount of vitriol spewed from people who enjoy and don’t enjoy the new content, or X movie, or X show is exhausting. I’ve started to try and remove Star Wars content from my social medias just so I don’t have to see people being nasty and awful to each other. If you enjoy a section of Star Wars you are a real fan. Baseline. Enjoy what you enjoy. Quit whining and vote with your viewership. People need to stop being hateful and making themselves miserable because of it.
