My dad came to America from Holland with his parents and siblings when he was 3 or 4 years old, just after WWII. They moved to California and became dairy farmers. Had they not, my dad would never have met my mom and I wouldn’t exist. Crazy how life decisions make such a difference in our lives and the lives of others.

As a Canadian I'm proud to build a life here in the USA. God bless 🇺🇸

Awesome story, and I completely agree that it doesn't matter where you came from. All that matters is that you're here and an American. My great grandma (through my paternal grandfather) and her parents moved to Pennsylvania from Russia. They fought the Bolsheviks when the empire was falling, and I am so thankful that they came to America!

I play this song every day early in the morning as I go up to my family flag as I salute and pray for those who served our country in the past and those who are serving in the present. All military people should be treated with a great amount of respect; God bless them all and God bless America 🇺🇸
