There's no such a thing called REAL AND TRUE BREAKCORE. Not even the producers like the idea of defining breakcore as one and only thing, genre, style, u name it.

Breakcore is just heart attacks made into music.

I feel like breakcore for me is a hit or miss genre. Either the songs from it are so good that I'll have it on repeat for the next few weeks or so bad I'll want to stop listening before I finish. There is no in between.

I'm not so sure about calling it "true breakcore". Like, I feel like that's just gonna make people feel shame for enjoying chiller breakcore music, even if you like listening to both chiller and more intense breakcore. Gatekeeping in music ain't cool ya' know °^°

The higher the "stages" and "levels" go, the more percussion- and beat structure switchups take place. And maybe more chops. I think that should be about it. Take note that I'm not an active listener of Breakcore yet.

I play osu, I'm quite used to this. Songs like these are amazing for osu because they are so fucking hard to play but are also so satisfying when you manage to get good at them.

i miss the days of browsing breakcore forums to find new artists as a kid, nothing will beat the feeling of finding out about some guy's obscure bandcamp page with absolutely amazing tracks... damn i miss forums, internet bring back forums dedicated to random niche stuff, now!
