That's interesting documentary ,as an Egyptian I want to say that aggression only breeds aggression and it's best to communicate aside from the media and political structures. I believe the British caused a rift between the Jews and Arabs like they tried in Egypt and failed .More arms are like more drugs and will only increase security obsession.

the military postion at the begining of the video is the postion 149 it was taken over by the egyptian army in 1973 all the israeli soldier in this postion were killed or captured because they were surrounded and the artillery gun was taken by egyptians it was strong piece frech made my uncle paritiipated in this battle .>>> long live the egyptian army

Because that land was from enemies that had wanted to invade Israel. Egypt tried to get it back through war twice (War of Attrition and Yom Kipper War) and failed, but it did after it signed a peace treaty. See how that works?

Hermin Garcia Egypt may have won that battle but lost the war. The IDF was standing deep within the Egyptian mainland at the end of it.
