Need a remaster of BO1 so bad. So much nostalgia watching these videos, coming home from school in the 9th grade back when BO1 first released and just putting in so many hours with all my friends. Such simpler times

Fun fact: The SPAS was both semi-automatic and pump action. It was designed this way to accommodate different ammo types.

I wish they could make more games like BO1. It was and still is my favourite cod of all time. Brings me back so many memories during my adolescence.

Oh you poor boy. MW2 is far superior. BO1 feels like an arcade game compared to it. Everyone who grew up with MW2 prefers it to BO1. Anyone who prefers BO1 was too young for MW2.

In BO1 you actually had to get k1lls with your weapons to get streaks, whilst in MW2 you can literally get streaks by getting k1lls with other streaks (where's the skill in that?!) Oh yea, and MW2 had more game breaking BS like One Man Army, Deathstreaks and Akimbo shotguns. But keep crying and gloating about BO1 being "too arcadey" compared to MW2. PS I can tell you definitely never played an actual competitive skill-based online MP game if you seriously think MW2 is less aracedy than BO1. MW2 is a joke and a glorified arcade shooter.

I haven’t played call of duty since the release of modern warfare. I miss this simplicity so much. They need to take notes from this game that less is more. No sliding or bunny hopping, no weapon smith, no super complex maps, less busy graphics.

So many good memories from this game. Me and my friends used to run jammers, Spas-12 with silencer, and counter UAVs to terrorize the other team. We pretty much disabled the map from the enemies the whole game. Good times.

For anyone that played 007: Quantum of Solace, this is basically the same weapon as the Hutchinson A4. Both games were produced by Treyarch and came out around 2010. On another note, how good was COD with such limited numbers of attachments and perks?

I went 56 kills and 4 deaths one night on quarry using the m4a1 with the m203 grenade launcher,never launched a grenade that match. I followed teammates and when they got killed I was right there to avenge them.

I miss the old days of bo1 so fuckin much, the grind to prestige 15 was so fucking good, so happy i was able to achieve my goal, just wish it was more lively- rip to the xbox360 and ps3 days

From memory. The silencer was broken on OG black ops lmao. Normally it does a tiny bit reduced damage and less range on top of not showing up on the mini map. However for the SPAZ it kept the damage and range of the original while still keeping you off the map. So it was just a strict upgrade lmao.

It’s funny looking back and realizing how solid most guns were. In the prime meta, you were called a scrub if you used anything but a Famas, a Galil or a 74u. I was a quickscoper but I remember the meta still. Those are all great guns, but looking at the game now I think we could have been way more creative with our kits. Edit: Honorable mention M16, I went stupid with that gun

It's so dumb that the SPAS-12 deals 3 or 4 hit markers whenever I'm 1 ft to 2.5 ft range to the enemy, but SPAS-12 is a god weapon from COD Black Ops.

Although it probably would've been broken, it would've been cool if the SPAS-12 had an "attachment" option to fold down the stock like the one in BO2. The sights on the SPAS-12 was about as bad as the Uzi: there was essentially no point.

Actually, the SPAS-12 is "busted" in MW2 but I love that shotgun for it. It was so much fun to use in MW2. It was alright in this game with it's range being reduced to balance it. LAME! 😂

I loved the spas in this game! The range is just ridiculous. I would love to see the olympia or stakeout next. I admit the stakeout is an awful gun but I had a lot of fun with it back in the day and the olympia is very overlooked, but really strong gun
