One of my biggest hopes is that Activision won’t ruin the immersion of this game with ridiculous Fortnite skins like they did MW2 and 3, though I doubt that’ll happen, in which case I’m begging Activision to give these historical figures skins in multiplayer. I didn’t buy a single character pack from the store in MW3 but if they release a president Clinton skin!!! I’m opening my wallet for that.

I think the Clintons are deep cover C.I @. In real life as well. They ran co©Aine thru banking in Arkansas in the 80's and they started as lawyers which is a common cover. Bush was former cia leadership, and Saddaam was planted as a leader in the 70's by USA, possibly to weaken Iran.

I wouldn't honestly mind having historical figures as skins to run around with, regardless if they're controversial or not. I can already see Saddam Hussein doing a takedown on Cardi B!! But overall, hope for the best, expect the worst.

Black Ops died in bo3. That game merely references BO2 and bo4 literally ruined the continuity, and I dont care about multiplayer, zombies became a fancy squid trip. They saved the campaign mode with Cold War.

Yeah I was gonna say, Cold War didn’t really disappoint lore wise. Gameplay was a bit janky, but Treyarch has always favored story telling more. I’m actually pretty excited. The 90s were a crazy time for war. And the conspiracies are even crazier.

Don’t you realize cod and blacks are two different games

This game seems to be taking place in multiple wars. Obviously the gulf war but possibly 2001 onwards. Colin Powell who was featured in this trailer was Secretary of State in 2001 and finished in 2005 essentially during the time where the invasion of Afghanistan happened and obviously the 2nd Iraq war from 2003.

For all you young kids who don’t know Colin Powell, he was the most respectful recognizable general in the 90’s. He was the last General who came real close to getting a 5th star General of the Army rank. The last to get a 5-star was back in the 50’s. Clinton became President and didn’t get along with Powell which led to him retiring early.

What's even more scary, is the impersonators they hired are damn near spot on. Great job on this trailer and hope the game is just as good.

If you look at the BO 1 and Coldwar reveal trailers then you'll notice those talk about lies as well meanwhile the futuristic BO games trailers don't talk about them as much or at all, makes it all feel more connected

If you look at the end of the trailer you can see that the blacked out box going through his eyes says. "MAC V SOG MOLE DEEP IN CIA" (aka MACV-SOG which stands for "Military Assistance Command, Vietnam - Studies and Observations Group. Which was a highly classified, multi-service United States special operations. Kinda confused on this bit because what i googled was that, that organization was active in 1964 - 1972 which is pretty far from the supposed time line of the campaign 1990s given the people in the trailer. Maybe the piece of the "lie" might be that they never truly stopped being active and just went underground as a secret government organization🤷‍♂) Also on his left arm in the black out you can see "codename Sally 8" so maybe the guy in the cover is known as Sally 8? and next to it, it says "Jackal PDW" could be a new gun they might add to the game or maybe it could be Sally 8s partner?

I want this campaign to be long. Give a chance to experience these different battles and periods.

I bet that this will be the flashbacks from the COD:BO5 I think or the *COD:BO6 comes with a meaning of no. 6* that's trying to represent which has a same case happens with MW3 meaning WW3, BO Cold War means its a height of cold war and within this 6 means something that can unveil our story.
