I was talking with a guy who did recon back in Nam and he was talking about how he and another guy would be dropped off on the shore of Cambodia to map it out and the other guy was a big mf with an m60 to provide protection any possible any possible enemies from coming out of the treeline while he was working on the beach

@@bradenmchenry995 bullshit, if they were *that* bad they would’ve been never issued, sure they’re not perfect and definitely became wore out in Vietnam and issues were found in the late 70s with it, still a fair MG. I’ve never heard an Army vet talk bad about the M-60.

A lot of the times, you guessed it, it’s a “ni**er on the trigger” and it’s funny as shit especially 50 years later when two guys who served together still joke about being the black man with the black MG. Crazy world man! Surely beats 5.56 at range and may have saved that dudes life

i used to run a rambo class with m60 big ammo, lightweight and steady aim doing nothing but hip firing no matter the range, it's stupidly effective like you wouldn't believe on smaller maps

I have a lot of good memories using the M60 in BO:1

This slapped with flak jacket and tac mask pro on objective mode gameplay. Couldn't be stunned, couldn't be blasted out of a chokepoint. Sometimes, you felt invincible

Back in the day. My M60 class setup would always be flak jacket, hardened and tactical mask That way it's a nightmare to kill you and you can shoot through walls

The only thing I did not like about BO1 was multiple guns had the same rear iron sight. M60, Commando, AUG, Enfield, FAMAS, and G11.

I remember a TDM on Nuketown where I went 30-4 with the M60 hipfiring with steady aim pro and the Big Ammo attachment. It was so much fun lol

My Nuketown domination kit was this thing with Flak Jacket, Hardened, and Tac Mask on. I would jump onto B and just lay on the trigger down either of the alleyways where people spawn while capturing the point. Always worked liked a charm.

i remember my bo1 days, xbox and wii. wii extended mags worked differently from xbox. xbox would subtract ammo count from the total to the bigger mag, but the wii would just give you the same ammo multiplier to the new higher mag size. (100 100 to 200 0 vs 100 100 to 200 200). remembering all these weird quirks and glitches from version to version makes me want to suggest the asp. the only pistol in the game to have the fire rate cap of the famas :).

The build he's using is even the nice version imo. You could stack ghost pro, hardened pro, and scavenger pro. Extended mags gives you 200 rounds. Scavenger pickup and you're always holding 400 rounds as long as you're not camping.

Hardline Pro was always good when running care package so you could re-roll it for a different streak if you got something lame like Ammo

My buddies used to hate the M60 because of the side-to-side recoil I was the only one of them that actually played the OG COD4, so I knew the gun kicks like a mule but hits like a train. You just gotta treat it nicely When BO1 came I've learned to snipe people with it and destroy everything with it. Good times

I was playing some BO1 LAN at my colleges gaming club. I brought in my three 360s and we got some good games going. I got a care package and i got a gunship from it. I checked the fandom and its a 1% chance to get one. Of course i only get that lucky when the game is dead
