"intergalactic cheese of proportions that you can't begin to imagine"...since you put it that way, I kinda wanna see the movie now.

This gigantic space cheese will destroy us all!!
Mark's joke is more entertaining than the entirety of this film.
When the sole value of a film is a Kermode Brand™ joke, you know it's bad.
seeing this tomorrow. can't wait.

What ya think?
Lovely stuff, I normally watch everything and judge for myself, but I feel you have saved me from feeling like a massive bell end on this one!
I just watched it and I liked it. Maybe because my expectations were so low after watching your review.😁

@@Jonatan606 i still teared up a bit at the end. Schmalz can be tasty too, you know? 😁
I thought the movie was terrible. It was hilarious, mainly because I had a pint or two before I saw it, but it was nonetheless terrible. There were scenes where I was in hysterics because of how hard I was laughing at some of the cheesy and ridiculous scenes in the movie, me and my friend were getting odd looks. It seems as if some people actually took the movie seriously, so it's clear to me that everybody in that audience was there to watch their first ever movie or something. Because it was so predictable and endlessly corny that I was just crying with tears of laughter at a bunch of the film's most absurd scenes, which include the mother's death scene and the ten-minute-long applause sequence at the beginning. It was so formulaic, I actually thought it was based off a Young Adult novel, but it surprisingly wasn't. I would tell you to watch it anyway just to see how funny it is, or watch it if you've never seen a movie before and can't recognise how generic the movie is. Just wait for the DVD so you can drink a bottle of Isla Negra and laugh maniacally throughout the whole thing.
Hi 🙂
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, when I saw the trailer I was looking forward to this. It came across as just a sweet little film.
Great reviews. Gary Oldman is great but needs to work on better films.
I would blame the director! Talented actors and actresses but guided blindly
Gary Oldman won't win the Oscar like this 😣. C'mon he's a great actor. What is he doing??
‘The Space Between Us’ is a daft, teenage romance film that doesn’t even attempt to make sense of itself. It’s amiable, but not very good I'm afraid. 2/5
The Fault in our Mars :hoot: Yeah I thought this movie would be ridiculous just by looking at the trailer. It is only a shame that so much talent was wasted on this. Asa Butterfield, the girl whose name currently escapes me but did "Tomorrowland" and of course Gary Oldman can do so much better than this. Also as long as Andrew Lockington scores crappy/mediocre offerings like these he will never get any recognition as a composer even though he is a very fine one indeed.
Quite bad film, I tried to like it but it stank back with cheese
