On a serious note, this is the "high" point of season 6b for the Sopranos. Tony really seems to have an air of invincibility around him at the start. It's after this episode when it becomes apparent that Tony's empire is rapidly crumbling around him.

My bud was talking the other day about how in politics any group that has bullied another group and finally gets pushed back on immediately starts declaring itself a victim and even though it's not about politics directly I think Sopranos captured that game beautifully. These guys are guilty as hell and full on criminals and everyone around them (including themselves) is so convinced they're being picked on when they get caught.

Meadow Soprano, whipped cream enthusiast. Maybe I’ll give her some of my own cream later.
Speaking of the 2 year old gun debacle (whatever happened there), a year or so ago, I was checking out this website that lists all the guns used in the show, because I am a gun guy. When I am watching TV (movies, shows, videos, news stories, mass media in general), I am always interested in what type of firearms are being used or displayed. Anyway, one of the firearms used in the show is the Glock 22, which is chambered in 40 S&W (.40 caliber), which was carried by the FBI agents on the show. In reality, the FBI has (or had, idk if they still have this standard) required for their agent's primary arm/rounds to be able to penetrate something like (10 or) 12"-18" of gel, as in, these gel blocks that are used to determine ballistic capabilities, which is a pretty significant amount of penetration, thus why the FBI for years, has relied on .40 cal, and sometimes 10mm, which is comparable-both are carried/used by outdoorsmen up in bear country for defense against bears. So when I learned that the FBI agents in The Sopranos also carried the Glock 22/40 caliber, I thought that was really interesting, and in neat, yet subtle detail that just shows how much detail and effort for realism that the writers aimed for. I don't know, I just think or thought, that it was pretty cool.
@blackhawks81H
6 ай бұрын
10mm is the parent case of .40 S&W .40 was actually invented in the early 90s because the FBI originally adopted 10mm. But because they're a bunch of effeminate limp-wrists, like all feds, they couldn't handle the recoil. 😂
