Do these Rumors for the Sony FX30 make you interested in this camera..i know its on APS-c though?

Just came across your video, the FX30 somewhat appeals to me but since I have a A7IV with a 24-70mm G Master Lens that I have set up with a tripod as a Cinema Cam set up, I haven't had a real need for an extra camera, for me the A7IV is a BIG upgrade for me from the smartphone and ZV-E10L with Kit Lens I was using. Since my A7IV sits on a tripod pretty much all the time I haven't had any issues with the wobbly effect when I move it from side to side but I also have it sitting on one of those smooth tripod large heads. It would be cool if sony would send you a review model of the FX30 to get your honest opinion on it. It does look cool though.

@@TiberiousGreene I got my zev10 as my second video camera ever and I learned a lot from it and I love it. Being able to get a cinema camera on apsc compact will be great!

Yeah i own the FX3 and if they’re carrying a lot of that over but for apsc! It’s going to be a great upgrade and change the game for you

It definitely looks exciting I love Sony cameras.. I am torn still because I already have an FX3 and an A7IV

If all is true I'll be one happy man. On the waitlist for the FX6 so I'd buy the FX30 as a gimbal B Camera 🙌🏽

It may have improvements over fx3 if it’s new sensor stacking tech

It definitely is in the FX3 but the FX30 is Apsc so 12 would be a little small I think so 26 sounds like a good spot

@@TiberiousGreene The new GH6MFT is up there as well as the Fuji XT-4. Going with 26MP will work as well i just don't see a need for 26MP if it doesn't shoot stills.

I'd hit it. When I migrated to the FX3 I kept some of my APSC glass.

If it indeed shares a lot with the fx3 it might be a perfect fit for you! But we’ll have to wait for the announcement later this month!

26mp on crop is useless. Its hybrid-video camera, not photo, like fx3 which has 12mp on full frame, we will get so tiny pixel square size with 26mp on crop.

6400&6600 seems to vanish so that’s the only one!! I am guessing the FX30 fir video and a small apsc/zv/A7IV type

I had to laugh at your rolling shutter example. That insane left/right whipping shot you showed from the A7iv represents an unrealistic scenario. In what situation would you ever find yourself whipping your camera rapidly left and right like that for a shot?? Would you ever use such a shot? Of course not. Plus, Catalyst Browse would reduce rolling shutter dramatically if you actually planned for such a shot. Which any rational filmmaker would probably never try. As far as the FX30 goes, I don't know why anyone still pumps out videos based on rumors. Sure, sonyrumors has a good reputation. But, no one in their right mind would make any decisions based on such rumors. It's better to wait until the camera is actually released before delving into the potential uses of a camera. But, hey, it's easy content when someone else is doing the work for you, like sonyrumors.

Hopefully Sony doesn't cripple the sh*t out of it & overprice it regardless like they always do 🤞🤦

I have a feeling they won’t because it’s already apsc! So it’s not taking away from full frame sales so there would be no purpose too! But we’ll see!!

@@TiberiousGreene Never said it wasn't. All i meant was most people i know went Sony because of their autofocus. I just ask myself what if Panasonic nailed their autofocus as equally as Sony does. Panasonic would be untouchable 💯🔥

@@TiberiousGreene My GH5S smokes nearly half of all Sony cameras today (videography wise) excluding the A7S3 and their cinema line cameras. The only thing that Sony beats my GH5 is the autofocus which's a damn shame 🤞 Correction; I meant, my GH5S, not GH5 🙏
