If canon did it with R8 (60 fps full frame) I'm sure Sony could do it too 😅 they just choose not to

It's been really cool to watch your growth as a content creator over the years and as a fellow KZread content creator, let me say how much I appreciate the meticulous crafting that goes into each of your videos. I can see the hard work and thoughtfulness behind each one. I know that your videos will continue to reach a wider and wider audience who will also find your work inspiring, entertaining and so much fun, just as I have. Didn't realize these short videos KZread was recommending me were from a completely separate channel. I just subscribed here as well.

Hey guys! Awesome channel! Thanks for the support over the years and subbing here too! Yeah I realized the videos on my main channels are kinda long so I decided to clip them down to bite-sized videos. To my surprise, these are all performing quite well for a smaller channel.

I've got Canon (R5,R8,R7) in both full frame and APSC factors. This is one of the reasons for me to still stick with Canon and not invest too much into SONY. I already got the ACII and ACR but they are so far away from Canon's reliability in terms of framing, fps and in general the confort of wearing one lens and maybe just have a wider extra on the side. I can take photos and shoot videos with all these cameras with no big change in the framing, no need to swap lenses or switch the camera in APSC (R7 is already). It does not become cumbersome or weird. For me, I hate the 24/30 fps looks and I don't care for it. I only buy cameras that can shoot 4K@60 and have a minimum of 24MP sensors so that I can still use it as a photo camera. Its amazing how SONY, one of the top camera manufacturers right now, is not able to provide a 4K@60 uncropped in almost any of their cameras. And please don't talk to me about 12MP cameras, I am not interested in those.

this crop is the biggest reason why i am waiting for a7v

I'm using the a7cII in combination with the 18-105 F4 PZ OSS for 4K60 videos and its such a nice little package

Is good to say details like the a7Cr has a crop and is line skipped 4k 60 just like the a7RV. Also the APS-C modes have worst rolling shutter due to the oversampling. I just ended up buying the A9III and have it as my only camera. I hope in the future the R line of Sony can do either more MP or no crop 4k in all modes without line skipping. 😢(would love to have 100MP)

i will be waiting for ZVE1 issues from you.. especially 4k 60p and the suitable lenses that you would suggest for zve1 users.. i mean after using it for some times.

So the a6700 is better for 4k video than a7cII and a7cRv?

Not sure what that converts to but a7C II is solid overall if the whole 4K60 thing isn't big issue for you. Enjoy it!

Unfortunately the crop factor hits any FF lenses with a 1.5x crop. We're better off getting a 10-18mm APSC lens to get a 15-27mm FOV in 4K60p with the a7C II / a7 IV
