George was also, in the opinion of many, the most skilled background singer in The Beatles. If you listen carefully to any of the 'vocals only' Beatles songs available on KZread and elsewhere, you'll notice that the trickiest leaps and musical intervals were almost invariably left up to him. I know, 'best background singer' sounds like faint praise, but it isn't. Try singing some of George's parts sometime. Not easy.

Says who. George’s voice was very fragile.

George--and Ringo too--were foundational to the Beatles' success. All the fab McC-L tunes ever penned can't change that.

Although I still have yet to listen to All of George's solo material, I'll still refer to him as my favorite Beatle. On a much smaller scale, it's easy for me to relate to the struggle he went through with the other Beatles. Most of the bands that I've tried to play with were not professional, but I was always the musician that they used to beef themselves up.

I love George. I totally get him for wanting to get away. I feel like that at my current job but can't leave easily because of my age now. I sure miss the Beatles but sometimes enough is enough when you reach your breaking point. RIP George. Miss you!😥❤️‍🔥

I always like how George didn't really seemed to need other people to make his songs (other than play on his albums). Paul is a plezser, he needs to be liked. John needed something to rebel against, he needed people to piss off. Ringo just wants to have a party with good musician friends. George was just his own person, being inspired by other things than people.

In Studio Number Six, where legends dwell, A moment frozen, a tale to tell. George Harrison, with heart of gold, Writes a song, bittersweet and bold. The day he left, the Beatles' fold, His soul in turmoil, yet future foretold. With guitar in hand, he pours his pain, Into lyrics that echo, like drops of rain. In melodies woven, with tender care, He captures moments, beyond compare. The song he writes, a farewell kiss, To a chapter closed, in musical bliss. With each chord strummed, emotions rise, In the studio's hush, where memories lie. The song George penned, a timeless ode, To love, to loss, to paths untrode. Through the echoes of time, it reverberates, A testament to destiny's fates. In Studio Number Six, where history's made, George's song remains, in serenade. So let us listen, with hearts attuned, To the song George wrote, under the moon. For in its notes, we find release, A bittersweet farewell, to inner peace.

I loved George, but he seemed to suffer from low-self-esteem with a chip on his shoulder and a little snarky. He didnt realise how talented and loved he was to Beatle fans. RIP, George

If they had all taken about a year and a half off after Peppers they probably would have stayed together until 74-75

You should amend your narration just 10 seconds into this video. George did not leave the band in “late” 1969. The “pivotal moment” was early January 1969.

I have watched about a hundred Beatles documentary's. Here is what I surmise. John was Brilliant and crazy. Paul was driven and jealous. Ringo was really the quiet one. And George was the most miss understood.

you can clearly hear how much GEORGE's accent became americanized over the years and his "scouse" (liverpool) accent got watered down. unintended side effect of having an american wife and working so much with americans in the music industry i suppose. and yeah 'ALL THINGS MUST PASS' is definitely one of the absolute best BEATLES solo albums (along with 'IMAGINE', PLASTIC ONO BAND', 'McCARTNEY' and 'BAND ON THE RUN') no doubt and 'WAH WAH' is an absolute jammer.

I think Ringo's accent is more Americanized than George's was. I agree about Wah Wah- great song. 👍🏻
