This steam engine comes with a boiler and generator, which is capable of producing more than 21 Watts of electrical energy.
The boiler was designed with a pressure relief valve, as a safety measure. This boiler can be powered with charcoal as in the video, or even wood.

- Power generation at full power can reach 7 watts shown in the video. If it is a more efficient generator it is possible to improve the performance;

Первый вариант конструкции шикарен! Настоящий правой двигатель! Ну, блин, с такими инструментами и руками как у тебя можно б было создать аппарат на серьезную мощность, хотя б на 1,5-2 им кВт. А у тебя по ходу всего на пол Ампера. Использовать можно только в школе, как наглядное пособие. Для детей как игрушка, слишком опасное занятие. Конечно работа вызывает восхищение! Респект и уважение! Olhei este vídeo achando que TU tinhas construído este motor. Logo pensei que já estavas num nível bem alto para um primeiro motor fora da categoria dos stirling. Lembrei da jornada do Robson desde seus motores stirling e quando se lançou com os motores a vapor e o quanto ele cresceu (e os motores dele também) no domínio dessa área. Somente depois na descrição que tive a certeza de que o vídeo era do Robson José.

Bom dia grande amigo Elton, obrigado novamente pela grande visita. Logo no inicio do vídeo, coloquei uma legenda comentando o o motor foi fabricado pelo Robson José e seu link estava a disposição, e no final do vídeo o contato para fazer uma encomenda do motor. Eu trabalho quase 2 meses na edição do vídeo e ele faz os takes conforme a necessidade para edição. I think about this for years. It could be a good solution for a remote cabin in the woods. The steam could be recycled and could heat the cabin, produce hot water and electricity for the same wood consumption as a simple wood stove.
The comment about having the tooling was so true, because I felt really envious of the tooling you have on hand. BUT! It still is an amazing piece of work. Well done!

Would it power at 20KVA generator? I am thinking of ditching the petrol engine and building a steam engine instead and using waste oil as the heat source. Something that will last 20yrs with minimal maintenance.

@@davewallace5008 21 W to 20 kVa, not flippin likely. Try 1000 times ~ @ 0.97 power factor, as I don't know your inductive vs resistance load.

Some focused solar could work too. Also, I'd be condensing the steam, & have it running back through the system, or pipe it into a hydrogen conversion cell. An inventor myself, I come up with all kinds of ideas. Awsome that you have the knowledge on how to build so much from scratch!

Good. The Idea for overheating water and producing HHO in the proccess can be a improve. The solar focus can be used (something like a Fresnel lens and a salt container)

Great work! It works and it looks beautiful. Though I do think a more apt title for the vid would be "nice little homemade steam engine generator" I believe that if every house in every city had one of these the cities would be really polluted. But as a nice little generator out in the countryside it could be great. Are you considering adding a super heater to bump up the efficiency? Are you considering more insulation for your steam line between the boiler and the valve? Are you considering adding a guard or muffler for the steam coming out of the valve? Finally, I am guessing you made this engine more for the sake of the video than for serious future use, but if you do want it to run for a long time I would suggest changing the design of the bearing between the piston rod and connecting rod. I am Concerned for two reasons. The force is not purely radial and the movement is not spinning but rather a reciprocating partial rotation. Ball bearings do not like either of these. I wonder if a bushing on a pin/rod might not last longer if proportioned correctly machined to the right tolerances and lubricated correctly. Again, beautiful work! Have a great day.

Eu acredito muito que o motor Stirling tem uma função na energia renovavel, mas tem que colocar ele pra funcionar com calor do sol ou alguma fonte limpa, não com carvão e óleo vegetal. Mas é muito lindo esse motor, espetacular!

Tem um modelo feito por água . No córrego pela força e peso da água, A água passa gira uma turbina a água sai da turbina e cai numa caixa a guando enche faz peso aí movimenta biela pro mangal etc Vc vai ter 2 fontes de energia a da turbina e do peso da caixa de água

Muito promissor, pena todo esse potencial não ser desenvolvido para uma escala que possa alimentar em off grid. Imaginem uma solução caseira em proporção para gerar energia de uma residência normal completamente funcional e todo conforto de condicionadores de ar chuveiros etc ???? Eu acho que pode ser possível sim.

@@ronald5629 yes, it can. But, the cost is very very big, compared as a 20w solar panel. Or, 40w solar panel plus battery and a simple charger circuit. By the way, it is a very beauty engineering machine...

Eu amo a tecnologia a vapor! Você fez tudo direitinho, mas - eu estudei mais a fundo ... Essas tecnologias tinham uma eficiência muito maior, porque funcionavam com VAPOR SUPERAQUECIDO! Você precisa fazer uma nova caldeira (se o gerador for o seu objetivo) - na qual o vapor fluirá para a mesma caldeira e será aquecido a uma temperatura mais alta - entrando em contato com a chama através de (tubos) e depois alimentando o motor! Nem todo mundo sabe - mas o vapor superaquecido após 600 ou 700 * C é dividido em oxigênio e hidrogênio (e pode ser usado para combustão), portanto, ao extinguir incêndios em temperaturas muito altas, a água não é usada !!! O reabastecimento de água deve ser organizado de alguma forma ...

I've been thinking about this for a while and my conclusion to the build is why reinvent the whole crank case ? The donner crank was already to go in its own housing with oil etc . Simply run the steam cylinder connecting rod through the head on a side valve engine, remove piston rings and bolt to top of piston .

Hello friend! I understand your explanation! However, the single crankshaft was collected in a scrap shop, there was not a complete compressor to do as he suggested. With a normal compressor, it would not be possible to make a double-acting piston engine, like this steam engine in this video.
