I went to a poetry reading of blinking with fists, it has Billy and a tibetan throat singer. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

They were? Now I'm definitely tuning in. His body of work is vast and varied - it's tedious to hear about the writing of Disarm every other interview.
Great interview Paul, Billy was in good form and brave to ask him about D’arcy and he responded well. Well done.

Another great interview Paul. Ive seen Smashing Pumpkins at Challenge stadium in Mt Claremont here in Perth and boy they attract an interesting crowd. Kinda half goth half alternative which i guess The Cure would too. Great live act and look forward to listening to ATUM. Mellen Collie is a great listen even to the present day . Patrick.

I preferred Teargardens over shiny Monuments cyr and atum combined. Teargardens had a oldschool flavor but they were very heart felt songs with lovely melody good lyrics and well sung.
I wish Billy cared less about what fans thought and just stayed true to what he v wants to do creatively
The Pumpkins nowadays feel like a 9 to 5 job cause they're all family men. The angst is gone but it was the angst that made the old Pumpkins so good.
Why do Australians pronounce "Melbourne" as "mel-bin" ?
