Billy is a highly intelligent person that lives in his head and it has been nice lately that he has ventured out and been doing a list of interviews to let us in. He is an interesting person to understand and resonates with people when they can see where he is coming from. Outstanding!! BTW Billy, you’ve never been a heel, you had assholes trying to make a name for themselves at your expense. Something tells me that their lives still suck as they look for the next person to stand on trying to save themselves from drowning. You won!

Great interview. Love Corgan. Always so articulate and thoughtful. Kinda ironic though how he discusses the issues of “clickbait” and such, then having this video posted with the title “rivalry with Nirvana” which he doesn’t discuss until the end of the video and which was not a “rivalry” at all, but more of a mutual respect and inspirational competitiveness, similar to The Beatles and The Beach Boys. This video deserves a better title.

Wow, thanks, this was a great interview. I finally got to see my very first S.P. show last week on the 5th, (cross it off of my Bucket List) on the hottest, most miserable day for blazing sun & temps Cincy got hit with, plus, the venue being on the Ohio River didn't help, & I had to suffer through it for hours, getting there earlier to get a good parking spot; & James & Billy made a joke on "Welcome to Sea World" as we were all swimming in the humidity...(lets not forget sweat) & I was really blown away by the concert. Just, elated! I was happy I knew most of the songs, because I slacked off on keeping up on whatever 90's bands I loved were putting out from like, 2008 until now, so the few songs I didn't know were really good, & some of it rocked so hard, I was shocked they even had songs that were like that. And, holy hell, I get on youtube to see whatever kind of recent S.P. info could be on here, with some very nice concert videos in the mix, but it was like, so much trolling & Billy bashing, I was like.... ""Wait.....Is he REALLY THAT BAD of a person to meet in person?" I took some of it with a grain of salt for various reasons...me having most of a lifetime myself meeting famous people, & knowing people can't be at their best all the time, but, I kinda get that a lot of it was crap that may've gone on during the 90's, &, honestly, there seemed to be a bit of a weird punk rage in most people of our generation at that time, as if so much pissed all of us off for whatever reason, & we've mellowed out & matured since then, so, it was nice seeing/hearing him just being a regular down to earth kind of guy on your show, & it's true that there's just too many trolls in the media & on the internet that twist things...I've had it happen to me several times over the years, so, yeah. Some people are just going to be who & what they're going to be, good or bad. Most of us have moved past that, but others aren't there yet.

I really can’t stand when people say that Billy Corgan is a “complete jerk”. He really, really isn’t. Is he brash sometimes when approached in public? Well, sometimes. But Billy is rarely (anymore) wrong about what he’s saying, people just don’t want to hear it the way he says it. But this proves he absolutely is very empathetic, and very interested in helping victim families. Babyface Billy baby.

There's actually some really cool and perhaps unintentional symbolism with naming the song Mayonaise. Mayonaise is an emulsion, and the song lyrics to me convey Billy's soul and mind having mixed feelings of living and dying. You can tell he is very depressed and suicidal, yet the song still conveys some sort of perseverance and hope "when I can, I will". So his feelings are mixed, thus an emulsion. Because an emulsion is a mixture of liquids. So I don't know if Billy gave them a bullshit answer or not but I think this symbolism maybe be the intention. Or maybe I am just really high.

Trent Reznor screwed her too.....Who wasn't she screwing? Not excusing Billy, but, two people in a relationship that were both popular rockers in their own bands & doing hard drugs is already a train wreck. Then bringing a baby into the mix...it's like you could see shit hit the fan for them before it did.

Nirvana was great. I'd put SP way above them though. Nirvana wasn't even the best "grunge" group to me. That would go to one of the other big four (Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam). I even like Stone Temple Pilots more. But comparing the best Nirvana has to offer against something like Siamese Dream or Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness? Insane.
