This game is so fun but the world feels pretty lonely and sad, specially when you get to read all of the lore in this area. Everyone except for you and the builders are all gone and reading the steady decay from every section's lore makes it more aparent.

What a great easter egg in that note you found in the flame temple! Reynauld and Dismas are the two main characters (the first ones you get.. the Crusader and the Rogue) in the Darkest Dungeon Games. Kinda sad that they survived the Darkest Dungeon only to die in the shroud Like you said, it was a day of sad stories.

If you find stuff you really like but your mage can't use it just stick it in a box. If you start a new character go into the same world and collect it - there is no level restriction on use (only on finding it). Then you can play that world or go start a new one of their very own. Pikemead has a whole load of goodies in it to find 😁

the ring of repacity, would really help your mana regeneration issue, its -20 mana but +20 mana regeneration (less max but much faster recharge) found in Willows Crush if you don't already have it

There is a ring in WIllow Crush. If you get two of them your Mana will regen like a rocket. Its Op for mage and wizard builds. Its called the Ring of Rapacity. Its so good you don't have to waste any of your points on Spirit anymore. Throw it all into Intelligence so your wand and staff hit much harder. Also once you have updraft if you hit right click and spacebar at the same time while flying you will momentarily pop out of glide and back into glide then you can use updraft again. do this over and over and the only thing that will keep you from flying forever is your stamina. You can actually fly up to the desert area if you know the right places to jump from.

Another great Video , i enjoyed it as always and waited in anticipation for you to open that door and say those words " Oh Fuck " although i have to tell you the next two bosses will be more fun and Dusty is right about that ring, it changed my game and changed me from being a Warrior to being a Battlemage using the spells to take out the harder targets with a good staff and the Eternal Firebolt :)

I kinda cheated getting to the desert, which is why I carry a bag'o'pick axes.. But I quickly regretted going there too soon because there be monsters!

I enjoyed watching you play. Just getting into this game, also solo, and really enjoying it. Thanks

@@NerdletteGaming Thanks. "melee is definitely easier" lol. I agree. I moved away from wizard because it was so hard early game. After watching you I might go more battlemage as I level up. Take my hat off to you for sticking with it as a solo.

@@oldandtight oh battlemage is so fun :) def try it if u enjoy melee. I am getting more used to the staff (although I do get hit here and there cause of the animation lock) and I have tried archer and it's really fun!

The only damage type I didn't put points into was shroud since at the moment it only really impacts the meteor spell, for me shroud damage wands don't drop, and the creatures in the shroud are immune to it so never felt worthwhile. The ring of rapacity from willow crush gives a really good regen boost for mana which makes points into spirit less vital so long as you don't try to nuke the world all in one go.

That first note about the Castle Wall blocks, did you find them? EDIT: yeah, that boss sucks as melee as well. The whole mouth gimmick suits archers best.

Hey Salacyous, I believe I did but I still have so many more blocks to uncover. I can see how that mouth stun is much better from ranged. I did it as an archer and it was so EZ. I hadn't figured it out yet when I did it on this poor mage... I just winged it lol
