Once you rescue the carpenter he unlocks magic storage chests that broadcast to all your benches

Somehow i got the magic chests with the blacksmith

Yeah in a recent update they made it so the blacksmith gives it to you, I think a lot of people wanted access to it sooner so they gave it to rhe first guy you wake up
Love the way you edit your voice based on being in a cave or outdoors, so subtle, but so immersive - great work

@MsToshi1990 Dude, tons of KZreadrs do this. CallMeKevin does it, as well. It's a basic editing technique. Video media has been doing it for ages now. By your logic and the level of sense it makes, everyone stole the idea from reality. In other words, it's not a stolen idea. It's a general thing people either implement or don't. I bet you misuse the word "plagerize," too. If someone uses the color green, is that stealing from someone else, too?

first thing i did was to check to see if anyone else caught that, forgot for a moment this is the internet..
I love Neverwinter nights. I still have a laptop with Windows XP so I can still play games like Diablo 1 and 2, might and magic 6/7/8, baldurs gate 1 and 2, icewind dale, heretic, quake, doom, and duke nukem. I was born in 87 so I grew up in the best game era anyone could. No micro transactions and the games were released as a full version and greed wasn't a driving factor. It was truly the golden age of gaming.

So glad others are still playing these games, too...although I still feel old (born in '76). Am very glad to see games being made like those classics. It's been feeling like the gaming industry is going the way of Hollywood, putting crap out just to put it out. I agree those were the golden days!
"thats such a sad story :( " ...."OOOH METAL SHEETS :) "
28:28 Super Mario World vibes Edit: 46:12 "a bit of a sad story here.... OH METAL SHEETS!" ROFL

Exactly .. they dont hide the inspirations .. and it is very fun.
“Oh I love it when I find secret stuff! It makes me feel smart!” Lol ❤
Neverwinter Nights was fantastic.
If you go over the skill trees, Enshrouded is very much designed with the holy trinity design in mind (tank, healer, damage dealer). The melee trees (red colored) focus on durability, and there's a couple skills that cause you to generate tons of extra enmity (causing the enemy to focus you over your allies). The magic trees (blue colored) have a mix of damage and healer stuff (including an aura that grants constant health regen). The archer trees (green colored) seem to be primarily focused around doing damage with some pet utility (more ranger than archer, to be honest).

Watching the game play I noticed that as well. Good call-out.
Anyone else catch him saying "I took an arrow to the knee"? 4:54
As far as collecting runes, one of your big sources of runes is you right click looted gear and select the salvage option and it breaks down into runes.
Started watching you because of 7DTD and the emersion in your videos is always so great, the music at the right times, and the echo in the caves it's weird at first but as you watch it reels you in! Good video my man!
NWN was fantastic. thanks for the throwback.
Love this so far!
I cant wait to see this series. Absolutely love this game.
Love that you are doing Enshrouded, such a cool game
I'm surprised no one has compared this to Skyrim! I find it very Skyrim-ish! I've played Doom, Doom 2, Doom 64, and the latest Dooms. I got hooked on EverQuest, and even dusted off my toon a couple years ago and played a bit again. Just didn't have the same "appeal". I left EQ and went into World of Warcraft, but found it too "cartoony" for lack of better term, although I had 2 characters at max level. I then went to Lord of the Rings Online, and really enjoyed that game. This game "could" also somewhat be compared to LOTRO. My focus always seems to be in the "mage" area. EQ was a Mage, and I had a lesser toon as an assassin. When I started WoW, I was a healer. Then LOTRO I was a bard/healer, and had a separate toon that was more of an assassin. Of course, I saw the magical branch within this game, and started thinking about going that route...but I really want a tank this time.

I actually thought of ESO, but yeah, Skyrim with Valheim vibes
love it, looking forward to more :)
Great first episode Tem! I've been looking forward to this game. Getting it today!
Hell yeah! I started playing this with a friend the other day. Real fun!
Really nice, considering buying that myself and seeing you playing this helps a lot!
awesome video, thanks
Thanks mate, cheers.
Very cool looking game, installing it now. Can't wait for the next ep! I was hooked from your earlier preview.
More furniture unlocks as you rescue the NPC's. The carpenter is the most useful but is the last one you'll unlock, in my understanding. He also makes magic chests so you can craft from chests in the future.
This guy is one of the better streamers these days.
Yup this video def just got me to buy this game!!! Great stuff!
I love how much this game rewards exploring. I MUST FIND ALL THE THINGS! XD
The voice modulation when you are in the cave still amuses me after all this time. Well done man
Neverwinter Nights? Now that is a name I’ve not heard for a long long time.
noice, thats a cool game, thatll be fun thanks for sharing
These survival game players man 😂 "Oh two lovers dying together what a tragic sto- METAL SHEETS!! YES"
take a shot every time he says "angcient". good luck, trooper. xD
You unlock "magic" storage chests which have the broadcast feature
FYI mate, You get magic boxes later that have broadcasting.
Really like this game. After watching you play I bought it for myself.
i like this let's play series please do more of these❤❤
oh hell ya! i love Neverwinter nights :D

funny, i edited cause i always remembered it as "knights". as in "knights of Neverwinter"
Awesome game❤
you can carry a workbench with you and repair your things as you go
My "early childhood game" was a title from EA, Legacy of the Ancients. Top down, RPG where the graphics were essentially ASCII.
This game looks great. Shades of both Fable, and Kingdoms of Amalur; among others. Looking forward to more.
Love the echo on your voice in underground chambers
looks like a game keep up the good work
Neverwinter nights was a great game, the sequal not so much. Now if you want references to point out are, here is a couple for you. Wasteland 1, SSI Pools of Radiance for the C64
Tem, you can have WAAY more flame altars than 2! Upgrade your altar and you can have like 20+
Mage in this game is very OP. great damage and the ability to keep distance. I’m usually an up close and personal guy. But me and my buddy decided to go mage support role. Super fun. Crazy to think on full release, the map will be even bigger

The passive healing aura you can get in the healing tree is super strong. my buddy and i also did a mage/support build while another did a tank role and its almost broken how strong the stacking heal ticks are.
Neverwinter Nights was the first game i really got into. Fun stuff.
Runes can also be salvaged from weapons
Got to know your channel through the Icarus series which I loved. Can't wait for this one!
Waited to watch because I didn't want to spoil my first experience with the game by seeing everything here, but now that I've played for several no-lifing days, I'm here for the series! I'm thoroughly enjoying the game so far and apart from some glaring bugs (terrain holes, quest bugs, etc) it looks great! I have played every style at some point or another. In 7DTD I favor ranged/stealth, in Elden Ring I'm sword 'n board, in Enshrouded I'm going mage/healer. I guess I'm dating myself too in that I distinctly remember NWN as a young/mid teenager. I believe that was my first main introduction into D&D or roguelike RPGs. Definitely a lot of great fun playing that game, and I've still got the Platinum or Gold editions of both NWN and NWN2 around here in a box somewhere.
Neverwinter was one of my favorites i had hours upon hours in that game
NWN was such a cool game for the time!
I hadn't thought about it but you're definitely right about the NWN comparison, boy did me and my group get a ton of mileage out of that game.
Thunderbrute is a lot easier with a bone wand. Plenty of time to dodge left and right before his ranged slam gets to you. If you want to make any of those bone blocks you should probably break up any skeletons you find for the mats. Pretty sure they made those capsules to instill the flame within you so that you could survive the shroud, but it took a really long time to do. From the notes you stayed in there longer than they had hoped. Every time you log back in everything that isn't within the bounds of your base flames resets, including terrain deformation and chests.
Appreciate the location specific voice reverb. Nice immersion detail.

It sounds like it will be, based on the comment at the end of the video
Also-you'll can get access to double jump if you choose it in the skill tree-very op skill. Hint-kill the attacking bees with the torch-burns them up.
Stealth with a bit of magic for me.
give us more hehe thanks enjoyed it sir
Regarding your class question, I have been doing a bit of everything archery (piercing), fighter (slash and blunt), and magic. Different creatures have different weaknesses, so you almost have to be flexible at first to be really effective. Additionally, I have read that at some point you can craft magic chests that allow for remote material pulling for crafting.
Ranger is always my favorite class. Soften them up with ranged, finish off with melee. Haven’t played Never Winter Nights in a long time…
magic
More! More! More!
I like the way he jumps, reminds me of those Irish folk dancers
You can salvage weapons with right click and get runes from old gear
Nice video
Hooooly shit Neverwinter Nights. That is, one of two games I consider my favorites of all time. It came out when I was super young, and thankfully my dad's just as big as a nerd as I am, so he was big into Bioware RPGs. Neverwinter Nights was one of my first real gaming experience, and my first real introduction to DND as a whole. I, love the game so, so much, and I'm so happy to hear you talk about it.
You can kill the bees with the torch.
OMG, you played Neverwinter!!! I played it trhough few times, got captivated by D&D because of that and still have most wholesome memories about it :)
i got game on relase so far loving it
I played Never winter nights as well and liked it and I always play a healer
There's salt right near the starting location
I like keep it goin
Mage all the way, the wands are just so broken, and the staffs can throw some big damage
I really hope you continue the series it seems like you are enjoying a break from 7dtd. Also I really love your way of story telling and explaining stuff. Keep the nice work on these videos.
Ughhh i wish they would do a remake or a remaster of Neverwinter Nights, both expansions were amazing also!
At 44:50 there are the two red barrels to the left of the house - blow them up from afar and you will find a buried chest!!
Wow, didn't expect someone to reference Neverwinter Nights. Me and my buddies, being DND nerds, played the crap out of it back in the day. Best part was all the fan-made campaigns you could download making replayability basically infinite.
You, "I played NWN as a kid!" Me playing NWN as an adult, "GET OFF MY LAWN!"
47:38 Alternate ending for A Quiet Place.
Any game that has a "base Object/node" should have storage broadcasting lol
you can place a "claimblock" at the nice house (min 34) and use it or scrap it
I typically play healers/supports or archer/ranged
Well rested system, just like valheim, I liked that alot, good implement!
So great to see you in a new series, but definitely prefer ‘is what it is’ than a clip show, so please do continue showing the ‘boring in between’
Omg your house is so cool looking mines just flat and square
@lukeskywalker2778

Please show us how you built your house
use the torch on the bee's
Banish the 🐝 with torch bro😂
This is gona be one of these games where i wannna get the feel of the first time playing again, like miinecraft and valhiem ect fk
Definitely want this game. I wonder if it'll be going on sale any time soon.... though it's worth the 25 dollar base price for sure!
For any game everrrrrr storage broadcast HAS to be a thing
Love neverwinter the class combos was amazing i made all kinds but caster is what i usually do but neverwinter i did the dragon one and elven warrior 2h weap exotic spec oof
I killed many lvl9 when I was lvl3 because I wondered miles away from base.
It seems Tem loves to whip it out and show us his sword. It seems he also likes to see others big fat logs.
If you're taking suggestions on retro games, Betrayal in Antara is a late 90s game with a super rich story, paper doll style world, with turn by turn combat. Graphics can be hard on the eyes, but a super fun game.
👍👍
i watched game edged played this game and he cheesed the thuderbrute guy hard, glad you didnt duck out. haha
Might have to play this one. Controller might be a better choice over keyboard imo
