THANK YOU! You gave me EXACTLY what I wanted with no muss & no fuss! The one scene that I came here looking for & you put it up like it was tailored made for me! We must be on the same wavelength! The scene at the beginning with Smith & Judy, is what I came on KZread to find and again you gave me the goods, with JUST what I was looking for. God! Was Marta Kristen exquisite! She never was quite as beautiful as she was in this scene here. If I was Dr. Smith I would be thinking SCORE! With her sitting down beside him. But such things were beyond Smith I’m afraid but not me! Good job LISC!

This was one of Irwin Allens great episodes with Don Matheson, who had no dialogue in this episode. He later was a cast member on Land of the Giants. He was also great on Season 2 on L.I.S. as IDAK Alpha 12.

This is another good episode of season 1. The lighting and background art work is fantastic. It all blends in well especially for B/W. It's quite sureal scene as the crab like machine approaches on the horizon foreground making it look menacing.👍💫✨🌟

Gawd! So campy. But it didn't stop me from watching, then or now. They should have put Smith a space suit and dropped him on the first astroid.

Can’t help but think that they cut costs by repurposing an old vacuum cleaner.

They WEREN’T! What show were YOU watching? They KNEW Smith was a piece of work & who he was through & through. Even in the beginning of the show when they didn’t know him well & couldn’t be blamed for being clueless on some things, they still had an idea that he was one bad apple, rotten to the core. I’m just amazed they didn’t either kill him or send him off & tell him never to return. But they were too humane & compassionate for that. I would’’ve beat the F*%K out of Smith on more than one occasion & he still wouldn’t have learned his lesson or have changed and still be the same if not even worse. Dear Judy, beautiful soul that she was, really at times had HAD it with Smith & let him have it! She was more rough than Don sometimes when Smith would get on her last nerve. But then she’d feel bad. Again beautiful soul. Only Will was pure enough of a human being to deal with Dr. Smith, knowing who he was at heart & yet still give the guy any kind of friendship & human compassion. But yeah I can’t believe that you were that naive in thinking that THEY were that naive.

@@brooklynant2047 Hey come on I was a child when that show first came out but as I got older I began to realize what kind of a person he was and why didn’t they catch on mainly because he was a big star in the show and people watched it to see what he was going to do next regardless of whether they loved or hated the character but that’s just how it was back inThe 60 s
