Which style of procrastination am I? ALL OF THEM! 😉 Seriously, nice video, very helpful.
This is so interesting, I think I fall into the 'Overdoer' camp
It's scary how many of these i can relate to!!! Im defiantly a Crisis maker.
Great video! Thanks!I definitely resonates with the overdoer. All of your definitions make so much sense!Thank you! Your video is also very nicely shot, edited and lit.
I think I flip between a few depending on the task too. Or depending on the day sometimes 😅. But definitely have some defier, crisis maker and dreamer in there!
Love this… I can identify with all six of the types but definitely a perfectionist at heart!
I think I am combination of the overdoer (too many projects!) and the perfectionist. But also, I always procrastinate, when I prioritize stuff like household etc. before my dream projects. I always block the time for it, but I always end up doing other things - cooking for the kids etc.
This is interesting. I'll watch it later.
Big perfectionist with a touch of a dreamer too.
Love this Micah!! I used to be in the Overdoer bracket I think... Things have gotten much better though! All of these blockers are just thoughts playing games in your mind :)

Couldn't agree more Miguel. It's interesting how we can sometimes change types over time too. I used to be in the crisis maker camp, but have thankfully managed to learn some tools to steer clear of it.

Yes, I even wonder if we choose/procrastination types change depending upon the task. For example, compare your tendencies when the task at hand is doing dishes, instead of writing a book. (maybe you don’t hate doing dishes, but I think you get my point.) I hate doing the dishes. My procrastination type while doing the dishes is “Godzilla” type. 😂
Definitely a lot that resonates with me in this video, I think I can flip between the different types depending on the task. Using Flocks has been a really good way for me to just get started on quite a few projects and everything feels easier once you just make a start.

We love to hear that! 🥰
Great breakdown! I feel all six are in me. Crisis maker and Worrier have a strong combo grip though. Found your work recently and Look forward to more from the channel!
Definitely a blend of the first three but mostly an overdoer I'd say!
Thanks Micah, great insights. Perfectionist / overdoer right here! It's amazing how recognising and acknowledging your own behaviours helps you to work around them. Time blocking is my secret weapon too! 🤩
Yes to number one, number two, number three, number five, and number six. I do have complex ptsd though.
This is on my to-watch list.

Ooh now there's an idea... the funny sidenote is I've been procrastinating about learning both Spanish and French for well over 2 years now😬
Definitely can relate with the dreamer and the overdoer 😅😅

I'm a total crisis maker
Thanks Micah. Me? - Defier. Or the overwhelmed, is that the all or nothing? I find it very hard to prioritise or to organise not knowing where to start and then giving up or postponing while I get on with another task. I’m very untidy, and it upsets me. Also I procrastinate when I know what to do, have made effort in getting prepared and then I just kind of relish thinking about it but do nothing
Self-proffessed Worrier Warrior!
Perfectionist is a bastardized term, but I not sure what’s better here. I know lots of people who claim “perfectionism” as a way to excuse their thorough concern or accurate qualifications. I’ve worked with people that claim such notions because they feel embarrassed in their other circles. It’s fun to think of other words, “ over maximizer” or maybe “Excess Meister” 😂 ❤️🔥 . Thanks for the vid.
Wowzers
Perfectionist/Overdoer - Me! With bits of the others at different times and combinations. Help!
I'll watch this later...

A nice collection you have there ;)
Yeah I am an overdoer I legit need someone who tells me to slow down lol also a crisis maker too as I can only seem to get things done last minute it's not even a conscious thing it's just that my main brain needs to know that it's now I need to X otherwise it's not now I often want to do things, but just can't.
👍
Does overdoing also have its roots in people pleasing?
Defier. All the way all day
Can you be a mix of more than 1 type..?
Dreamer and overdoer i guess
Erm....uh... well.... y'know.... I'm...... how to put this..... I'm thinking.......I.... don't... really... procrastinate.
For crying out loud, what on earth is this all about. All these things are happening all day and every day it’s what is called living and part of life.and using one’s common sense and thinking for one’s self.If you can think and work out a problem you don’t need someone to do it for you, unless it becomes a medical or mental problem in which case one would seek professional help.
I’m a defier with a sprinkling of dreamer.😢
