These sims 1 longplays are literally ASMR to me and I love falling asleep to them, so i'ts really nice that they have no commentary! something about the nostalgia and the sounds of sims 1 is so comforting to me, like a warm blanket! Also the rustic cottage looks so nice and cozy, Makin' Magic was my favorite expansion.

I feel just the same way. Every single noise and action is so soothing. I especially like the cooking and eating noises 😆 and the footsteps on concrete. Wish more floors had that clacky footstep. Seems like only concrete does!

Not me pressing 3 on my keyboard unconsciously to make the game go faster....

Last time i was installed it on Linux and it worked very well heh soo cool memories but when you see now from adult perspective the game became creepy from time to time

There really are creepy elements lol. I just love that about sims 1, enjoyable as an adult as it was as a kid.

It was always creepy. The game scares the s outa me when I played it, those sounds, everything is eerie and parodic

I’ve got 10,000 + custom files in this game, years of hunting! 😂 I will say I got most of it from sites like Parsimonious, quayside, the sims resource, and look for sims 1 custom content on google. There should be plenty to find! The secret society of the Wooshba as well. I don’t know what’s still available, but the kitchen I can say is called White Castle or something like that 🤔
