If I'm not wrong in the Sims 3 Maxis fired the original team, that's why Sims 3 and 4 are the worst, because it wasn't the original team that made and truly loved the game to give us the best experience and details that only whoever truly loved could do it with patience and talent

It seems to me that the Sims 4 has fewer details so that anyone with an inexpensive computer can download the game. Sims 4 has enough high-quality graphics, which already increases the requirements for a PC before installing , and if you add more details, then only gamers with computers for a lot of money will be able to play the game.For example, I have a very weak PC and I can't play Sims 3 (because there are a lot of details in the open city and my computer just turns off), meanwhile Sims 4 (which, in theory, is cooler and better) works without problems. But this is just my guess.

The jump from TS1 to TS2 is freaking insane.

Ts2 actually has water physics, cool

Sims 4 is like Sims 1 when it comes to pools: just a plain that swallows you whole like a portal

TS2 almost seems unreal looking back at how many tiny details and small touches they had. Not that it's too hard to program, but, with how customizable the game is, having so many little details anyway just seems like a feat beyond what was asked, and makes it that much more impressive.

No wonder why my computer turned off every time I loaded a household in sims 2

And this is the thing so many people forget when praising the hell out of older sims games. 😂 they looked great, had so much detail, etc. but they were incredibly difficult to run for those same reasons.

Funny how later installments after Sims 2 for whatever reason don't take what Sims 2 excels in and use it for their own enchantment. Sure variety, quirks, and all, but it's just a physique

So a game that came in 2004 has a water physics, and games that came in 2009 and 2014 doesn't have one. Everything is perfectly normal in creative process in EA 😂

Actually we sisnt get pools in sims 4 until later

TS2 was full of small detail like that and it's so amazing

Sims 1: Starter of a legendary game Sims 2: Realistic splashing with the wave Sims 3: Small downgrade Sims 4: NO

I refuse to play anything but the sims 2, still to this day. The attention and love that went into it seriously shows.

I think the worst is the sims 4. It has a very simple water physics and it supposed to be better on graphics themes. The sims 2 is very advanced for that year, the sims 3 is well. And the sims 1 was good for that year

the sims 2 was the GOAT in term of... everything, for its time. I can forgive the sims 3 for lacking water physics and details because it brought a lot of new features on its own that were extremely fun, but the Sims 4 has no reason to be this mid and lacking.

If they could combine like a mixture of every sims game in the sims 5 or something, or just make a massive update on the sims 4, it would probably be the best game.

TS1 is creepy with the pool just a solid color. I feel like they should have added just a little bit of another blue to it lol

My favourite game is Sims 3 but I have to admit Sims 2 was way ahead it's time and was such a well made game! Sims 4 just feels like an empty carcass made to grab as much cash as possible. I get bored just thinking of it.

Everyone loves Sims 2, it was the best game in the world

The sims 2 and 3 are the best in terms of animation and art. I believe that if The Sims 5 was a combination of all the other The Sims, it would be perfect. The sims 1 is nostalgic and fun, 2 has gameplay, 3 is beautiful in the construction part, 4 is more optimized and his camera game is more practical. This joint would have everything to be perfect.
