@@mehrsinaesmaili1903 if you want to there are a lot of cheap food in Denpasar and Gianyar. Most of the expensive food is in the dense tourist areas such as Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta, dan Ubud but you can find cheap food if you look for it

Sonny, I just returned a couple days ago from a 5 month staycation in Bali/Nusa Penida/Lombok. I went the cheap route. $10-15 a night hotel. All were very nice and definitely worth the price. Can't imagine staying in a $100-$1,000 hotel. You can live like a king in Indonesia with a high budget. I lived off $2-3 meals, which was more than enough. Most of the local restaurants were cheap and delicious. Budget friendly. Fell in love with the country. Beautiful place with such sweet nice people. Can't wait to return:)

Definitely more videos like this. A food and hotel review in one. Great stuff.

Such a great place to stay at. Glad Sonny could experience it. All I remember from my time there is the massive koi pond just beyond the entrance and the steps down to the private beach not far from it. Absolutely lovely.

Please do such videos in the future and it gives s different perspective to the audience to see another side of the world, like luxurious and fine dining experiences. It is on my bucket list for sure to visit soon. Kudos to your wife -) not easy to shoot a video with you and she nailed it.

BLi is beautiful but you have to get over the stench. You can always tell who is new in Bali S they will dry heave and say pew! Under there breathe alot. While trying to be polite. This woman at a restaraunt outside I could tell she was having a tough time with the stench and she covered her mouth and started throwing up out of her nose. Trying to be discreet about it.

Having been to Bali a couple of times in the last 6 months, I've witnessed its move from backpacker to luxury holiday model. All inclusive and luxury resorts are popping up, especially in the south of the island. Prices have increased alot. This model has a number of local restaurants worried longer term, if people stay within their resorts, who will visit their food outlets?

My wife and I lived in Surabaya in the early 2000's and she "had to" travel to Bali once a month for work. As her employer paid for room and board, we didn't stay at the Four Seasons but I really hope you had a chance to get some Babi Guling while there. The best suckling pig I have ever had. The pigs are (were) basically free range and some of them feed on Avocados which adds a new dimension of flavor.
