Do you wear loafers with or without socks? All the shoe model pictures shoe no socks. But that creates a sweaty stinky unsanitary environment that will essentially clear a room if you ever take your shoes off. Those low rise socks with no slip are a gimmick as they always instantly slide under the heal and create an uncomfortable feel. With shorts in summer, socks in loafers look dorky. Man I got some serious first world problems! What is the solution?

I do both. But i dont wear 'no shows'. I either wear knee length socks or none at all

Justin FitzPatrick I tried wearing no-show socks (I’ve tried the supposed best brands out there) and either the socks slide off my heel or they put pressure on my Achilles’ tendon resulting in some real pain. I’ve decided it’s either no socks or dress socks from here. By the way, I just received my first pair of J. FitzPatrick loafers. Not only are they beautiful but they’re my new favorites.
