The Shady Side Of Will Smith

Ойын-сауық

It's one of those rare pop culture moments the whole world is talking about: At the 2022 Academy Awards, Will Smith took issue with a joke from host Chris Rock, so he walked up to him on stage and slapped him across the face. Rock was poking fun at Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved head, comparing it to Demi Moore's in "G.I. Jane," which went too far for Will, considering Jada has alopecia. The "slap heard 'round the world" has people digging into Smith's past to uncover if he's ever behaved like this before, and the results are interesting, to say the least. This is the shady side of Will Smith.

Please stop defending Jada by saying she has "alopecia". She made a self-diagnosis because she had to explain the scar across her crown. Instead of admitting that she had some cosmetic surgery done to keep up her youthful appearance, she blamed it on an auto-immune disease few people know about, and even fewer can pronounce correctly. Alopecia is NOT cancer or lupus or Grave's disease; it's relatively harmless but causes a lot of embarrassment--none of which Jada was experiencing while taking TONS of pictures on the Red Carpet. Princess Caroline suffered from alopecia; Jada looks nothing like that. Men also suffer from it, it's called Male-Pattern Baldness, which Jada laughed about when the female trio teased a bald actor. If you're gonna choose a disease, choose a good one. Also, don't dump a truckload of peroxide on your hair to bleach it and burn your scalp because you want to be blonde. 'kay?

    1) RACE- That slap wasn’t to make Jada, the black woman, feel better. It was to make Will smith feel like some masculine stud. Will could have just yelled back at Rock from his seat in his wife’s defence. He could have used his speech (since he knew he was gettin an oscar), to say YES my wife is bald. YES she's gorgeous. YES she's strong. Give it up for her beauty and strength...give it for all black women! He could have sued rock and the academy for the insensitive comment and actually would have won! FYI Will himself has made fun of bald people on screen, just google it. 2) RACE- Chris (who himself is black) was making fun of white celebs too jeez. Maybe the audience was predominantly white but that’s because the black population is still a minority. The academy was awarding a black actor for playing a black father in a movie about the true story of 2 black women who created history! So don’t force race into a discourse as simple as this- a comment doesn’t warrant an assault. 3) And what humiliation are you talking about? how’s being called G I Jane an insult? Its like calling someone hermione granger or wonderwoman! It’s quite literally a compliment. 4) Jada has shaved her head so many times before, it’s a little conceited to think everyone follows her and reads on her daily to know that this time it wasn’t voluntary and was because of alopecia. Most of us didnt know until the next day INCLUDING CHRIS ROCK. 5) Even if she and Will felt hurt, there were a 100 ways to deal with it. If you’re angered by someone’s words against you, use your own words to retaliate. Commenting on someone’s hair is not a crime. But hitting someone is! A slap over a joke is just disproportionate. Imagine a world where anyone could slap anyone because they didn’t like what they said?

Also, when it comes to defamation and public figures, which Will Smith def is, u have to _prove_ malice and literal damages. He wouldn't even attempt to bring such a dumb lawsuit bc he'd be mocked and ridiculed more than he is now.

Jada Smith's abominable behaviour is the dynamic that resulted in her husband's inexplicable actions at the Oscars. Some things so abhorent and incomprehensible, our minds cannot process, or accept. My guess, when Jada publicly announced her affair with their son's friend, she broke her husband's heart and his ability to comprehend, let alone accept, the depravity of his wife. The Oscars, Chris Rock, and the public witnessed a broken man, and should respond accordingly.

His time to be Jada's gangsta fantasy and he ends up botching it like the pointdexter he is. First off, slapping another man doesn't always end in a slap fight, it can be deadly. So he should have thrown down his best "Welcome to Earf" punch first and ended as soon as it began. Secondly, he sucker slapped Chris Rock. And nothing against Chris, but you could tell he developed his sense of humor to counter situations like this in school. His pecking or punching order is in the "safe area" and by no means a person that will earn you a single point in respect for fighting. Third, its just a cringy, nobody wins scenario that has him hyper defending a woman who would hop on a deaf dude doing sign language if for some reason his hand movements resembled the East Side Crips' gang sign by mistake. His dream scenario of punching out a powerful successful black man in front of his woman who has fundamentally picked and settled on him for every quality he can provide, EXCEPT for his inability to make her cream in her jeans. The irony being, you can't even "Oscar for Best Actor" anything close to hard enough for her, and meanwhile she's boning the extras.

Nobody is trying to force Will Smith to be gay. He is, however, an actor. It was His CHOICE to accept the role as a queer conman in "Six Degrees of Separation" to become a "serious" actor. The criticism that arose at that time, was that he "cheated" the kiss scene using edits. Don't accept a role *as an actor* that you're not prepared to play. Heath Ledger "kissed a guy", and won his Oscar, (and acting acclaim) MUCH earlier than Smith did. So did Queen Latifah and Holly Hunter, and nobody's mad at them.🤷‍♀️ That's all they are saying.

@@heathernks8 that is a fair enough point but it isn't entirely what I meant. To address your point though, that is great for all those other people and may very well be a part of why they were revered as they were. While I agree a person should honor their commitments, the truth is we (or at least I) have no context for what was agreed to before hand, the narrator said something like "this wouldn't be the only time he would insult the gay community..." I find the fact that his co-star kissed him on the red carpet without his consent far more egregious than not wanting to kiss another guy. If there ever was a time to slap another guy in public...well, let's just say his timing was off by a few decades!

@@chasepalagi7675 Smith took the role. Period. Apparently he has a history of anti-gay rhetoric. I will never cease to find it astonishing how a person who belongs to an abused group will happily abuse others who belong to a different abused group… So, if I’m gay I can freely not like all black people or refuse to kiss a black co-star because that’s my preference, even though I took the role? Please explain how this works. As for Ian McKellen, I think it’s hella funny, considering Mr Smith considers himself a lady’s man I’d be willing to bet good money he’s given unwanted attention to more than one female. Amazing how too many guys don’t seem to see the equivalent.

    @chasepalagi7675

@@maxshaw1330 I will reiterate my sentiment. I think it is important for people to honor their commitments. If Will Smith took the role without stipulating beforehand that he wasn't comfortable kissing a guy then that is wrong but we don't know and even if we did, it has nothing to do with insulting the gay community. It is no different than a director coming to an actress with a role that calls for nudity. If she said " I will take the role if you can get me a body double" no harm right? Or is that slut shaming now? My point is at worse it was a commitment issue on Will's part, at best everything went exactly how it was supposed to but it is somehow made out to be an insult on the Gay community. I think any autonomous human has the right to not kiss ANYONE they don't want to. But apparently because the gay guy was part of some "abused group" it somehow acceptable and even funny as you seem to think. You won't find me defending anyone who does that to someone else, not even your strawman example of Will's hypothetical situation that you put forth with no basis in fact or evidence. On the other hand a person could make the argument that the gay guy kissing Will without consent is even more reprehensible because he did so knowing with certainty that Will didn't want any part of that. But ha ha ha, it's a gay doing it to a straight guy so now it's funny huh? By the way, you guys really need to chill on the identity politics bs. Every group has been disenfranchised at one point or another and with that logic anyone would be permitted to engage in otherwise abhorrent behavior just as long as they have a few victim points from some point in history stored up.

What he did to Rock, he would have done to the average person. It's alleged that Smith told his bodyguard Charles Alston to "attack" record promoter William Hendricks. Hendricks' eye was operated on and required six stitches. Smith was arrested but the charges were dropped. The Hollywood crowd of course gave him a free pass on the whole affair. Also the Hollywood crowd of course, gave him a standing ovation, however hardly any of them went public in support of him afterwards, because of the public outcry against what he die. The Hollywood bunch pays special attention to which way the wind is blowing.

The problem is that hopefully when you get married and have kids, you grow up. But when you’re wife is nuts and wants to fool around with other guys, and there are no consequences, you end up with the dysfunctional family you see here. I was a Will Smith fan since the 90s, but at some point, nobody deserves that level of preferential treatment. They should have to play by the same rules as everyone else.

Well ! That was a comprehensive report on Will Smith !! > I only know Will Smith from his film & tv work. Of which, I’m a big fan. I have met many lead stars from Hollywood & I must say, they are usually very different from the characters they portray on film. I know, it’s hard to wrap your head around it; but these guys actually are real people with real issues - like we all do. Peace 😎

It's not hard to wrap our heads around it but the truth of the matter is these Real people you speak of would have been arrested and charged if they assaulted a person on live TV. Just by Will's action alone in that very moment says he is above "Real People".

As I am a born-again Christian myself, my paster teaches us that the mark or the curse of Cain was a dark skin tone in an attempt to justify their actions, that they are the truly "descendants of Cain". And the uncivil action of Will Smith is the living demonstration in front of the whole world. Everyone is gonna see him burning in the fire lake forever. Hallelujah.

The fact that Will tolerates Jada’s mistreatment and nonsense shows that he doesn’t even respect himself. No dignified person, man or woman will ever tolerate abuse, humiliation, mistreatment or inappropriate behavior from their partner or spouse. His slapping Chris was basically the straw that broke the camel’s back. No self respecting dignified person would ever do that in front of the whole world. Will Smith has humiliated himself a great deal. A self respecting, dignified, honorable person who has integrity treats others with respect and honor and respects his/her own self. If Will Smith had any shame, and if he found Chris’s joke offensive; he would have dealt with it in a respectful yet authoritative manner. Will has basically opened himself to being charged with assault and a big hefty fine, and let’s not forget Chris does have that option if he decides to change his mind. That slap will as Jim Carrey put it be ubiquitous.

They are both full of nonsense and, will is not the victim as Pp think he is, the situation lasted for 20 years, and they were rumors about Will's sidechicks at the time and how he was arrogant (Aunt Vivi experienced it) + His ex wife left him because he was too much to handle, she said it herself, and at the time rumors of him being gay or and having extra partners began, even before marrying Jada + between 2011 and 2016, they were a lot of rumors of them being divorced or having a divorce, with a lot of innuendos at Will's sidechicks (Heidy de la Rosa), I remember it very well. It was more focused on Will. They were even saying that he was with Alsina before we heard anything with Jada. The media, blogs and forum were on it. Many had the time were saying that she was his beard, covering him as gay/bi guy for his career. They also at several times said that they no longer '' married' but life partners, confirmed in the recent years by the Smiths. Jada also said in a discussion with her mother and Will that she did not want to marry but she was pregnant so her mother forced her to. And at the time, pp were siding with Jada, because it was obvious that she was suffering in their relationship. After the Alsina affair, she took the heat, she has less things to lose than Will, and the Smiths know that. Even on the red table talk, when they decided to discuss about the entanglement, they called the swingers Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis to prepare it. At the end she said something like I covered your back many times, so I know you will do it too. And Will agreed. Trust me her ex wife don't want to get back with Will. She knows who he is. He has a big ego, he told that in a Oprah interview back in the day. And his ex-wife goes with them on vacations often and was there at the Oscars. He is more pissed because Jada sidechick was not able to shut his mouth, like the others (Jada and Will's included) . And Jada opened her mouth too much too. Will is not a saint, pp are going hard at Jada like he made a bad choice. They chose each other, and agreed to stay in that relationship , OK! Martin Duane, close friend with Will, even in his first wedding, has, the worst reputation ever, rumors about being in a romance with Will or being the one who provides girls for Will and the ex-husband of Lisa Raye and more, confirmed by Lisa Raye herself, has been known for several years. If Jada is toxic, Will is too!

The part about Will being homophobic could have been left out of this; 1) Merely not agreeing with an abnormal lifestyle choice isn't a phobia, it's just something one doesn't agree with it, & disagreement is a part of life- just as some will disagree with that statement. 2) It's normal for a heterosexual man to not want to kiss another man, even if it's just acting. So, pointing this out in this really proved nothing, except maybe how the LGBT gang will take any small thing to push their agenda.

There are receipts - it has been kept under a facade - but with the crack, now, in his Teflon. He has been very mean to many.
