Orson Welles as The Shadow in this thrilling adventure called "He Died at Twelve" which aired on the Mutual Radio Network on July 10, 1938 and sponsored by Goodrich.
Note: This old time radio show is in the public domain* and from my personal collection and can be used for historical, educational, and entertainment purposes.
*We have checked with the Library of Congress regarding the status of old time radio recordings made prior to 1978 and that all such recordings are generally in the public domain, as sound recordings were not allowed under the previous copyright law and such recordings have not been granted copyright status under the new laws.

    I think the shadow adventures are great Especially the ones with orson welles gosh that voice was made for radio also he was great at acting, genius, genius.

    Actually, Bob Kane and Bill Finger traced images and copied lines from Shadow pulps and changed character names. Finger admitted this when he was dying. Kane only said he was based on Zorro to avoid the plagiarism.

    +wreathofpalmaria I meant comic books, Dynamite Comics has published a few different series now. They also do other pulp super hero books and "Masks" which has all of them working together.
