I always saw Harry Dean Stanton as being a good Shadow. I remember reading the comic book where Batman meets the Shadow as a boy.

Originally syndicated as part of B.F. Goodrich's summer series of "SHADOW" episodes. There's music fill at the beginning and end for a local announcer to identify the sponsor and the local Goodrich "Silvertown" tire dealer in your community (and a "custom" commercial for the local retailer at the very end).
This one makes me scared of getting old.
This is by far, both the most disturbing, and most depressing episode of the Shadow, which I have ever heard.

I wonder if M night Shyamalan was inspired by this to make his upcoming movie about the people on the beach who age rapidly.
