This was so awesome. It's great to turn off the lights and sit back and let your mind travel back in time. Thanks for making these shows available again

$60 a year or so gets you all of them on XM radio. I always look forward to long car drives when I can listen to 3-4 in a row, especially the serials.
Absolutely love these programs!! What a nice change of pace - super relaxing. Thanks Old Time Radio!! What a treasure. :o)

One of the better old radio shows. This story reminds me of The Musgrave Ritual by Conan Doyle.

Does anyone know of an episode where two men are on the road and see a figure in a house and they enter the house. After then enter the house they get stuck in there and the air gets sucked out of the room. I don't remember the ending or the name of the episode. Anyone have any ideas?

Where was the Whistler in this?

The Whistler is the narrator. He introduces himself within the first minute.
If you found the money, why give it away??! Why look for it then??! This makes no sense! They find the money, give it away, then leave, broke??! 😂🤣
The Whistler was a fan of Sherlock Holmes, I see..... Interesting takeoff, but not as compelling as the original. And that's ok....
This is a total rip-off of Conan Doyle's Musgrave Ritual.

Tsnore Why do you think it HAS to be a "Rip Off" ?? And Not just a updated "Version" I mean, I hear what you mean. But I still enjoyed this take on the same theme.
