+steven cates Damn right. I don't think I can name four of the best song winners from the past 20 yrs. "Falling" from the movie Once comes to mind but not much else. Few if any of them become standards anymore. There are times when I think this category should have been eliminated years ago. The talent just isn't there. Not compared to the likes of Porter, Berlin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, the Gershwins, Jerome Kern, Johnny Mercer, etc. etc. all of whom were writing for the movies over roughly the same ten-year period. It boggles the mind. The word "genius" is tossed around so carelessly today. THESE people were the real deal.

What a glorious time of life that was during those years, great movies, good actors and actresses, and unforgettable musicians, arrangers and orchestras, and songs that will live forever, like "The Shadow of Your Smile." Best song of 1965, presented by the lovely Natalie Wood, from the memorable movie "The Sandpiper" with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, filmed at Big Sur, California, a beach I used to walk my dog on often, so peaceful then. Those people above, are all gone now, but memories linger, and always will.

Her talent was shown from when she was a little girl in Miracle on 34th Street to Splendor in the Grass, Love with the Proper Stranger, Rebel Without a Cause, West Side Story, just to name a few. Sadly, her unexpected and death before her time still remains a mystery due to the circumstances surrounding it until today. You are Loved and sorely missed. Rest in Peace Dearest Natalie.

This short video snippet of the 1966 Oscars ceremonies always has relevance to historical trends of this subjective award based on the members of the academy on your performance, but in the instance of the beautiful late actress Natalie Wood for this award for the best original soundtrack and I movie it also pretends in current news events regarding the mysterious and unresolved question concerning her tragic demise and unexplained drowning accident which has unresolved questions due to the incident being labeled officially as a murder several years ago after it the occurred 11 / 29 / 1981 off the Pacific coast of California.. although it is still labeled on the Wikipedia page as a probable drowning and other undetermined factors, more recent disclosures in the last 3 or 4 years going to her husband at the time Robert Wagner( they were married 1972 until her tragic death in 1981. Born 7 / 20 / 1938 in San Francisco she had reached her 43rd birthday before the event. Unexplained tragedy in events surrounding her death were involved in a movie relating to her, Robert Wagner and a new star who subsequently became very prominent Christopher Walken. Back about 3 years ago Robert Wagner's name come up for investigation when he was 87. Different stories had occurred about how a disagreement between Wagner and would happened which have been explored widely and social media and on the internet. The unfortunate rumors and resulting gossip of the unsolved crime, which will be 39 years this November still swirl around the facts that are known. Unfortunately the rumors include Wagner's jealousy about the presence of Christopher Walken and his wife as well as her being the instigator of the argument between herself and Wagner after she had discovered Wagner and Walken in bed together. Due to the lack of more definit information and other Witnesses this conflict of stories has not been resolved. Since Natalie Wood, Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken were the only witnesses to the events, only a true picture can be gained from their recollections during this event. Wagner who turned 90 this year on February 10th( born in 1930) appears to have the burden of confessing his involvement in the events my what has been disclosed by more recent investigation. God in the Old Testament Book of Numbers chapter 32 verse 23 talked about the importance for the remaining Israelites before going into the promised land of the land of Canaan( God's metaphorical analogy of Heaven, in the preceding verse 22 of numbers 32 oh, that they needed to be Guiltless by confessing their sins before the Lord and He for Israel in order to possess it before the Lord. God lovingly also stated that in Genesis 4:7 to Cain in connection with his murder of Abel.. inverse 23 of numbers 32 God warns if they did not do so and sinning against the Lord he advised them of the wisdom of making sure their sin will find them out. God lovingly appropriates that knowledge to us before they return of his Almighty Son Yahushua Meshiaak ( Jesus Christ) by and before the middle of this current decade to bring in the end of time and preparing for the Eternal Kingdom. Anyone with knowledge of the Bible in reference to the events of the seven trumpets being sounded as the final call by God with the last three of them being the woes, by reading assiduously and comparing scripture with scripture in Revelation 8 and 9 as well as Revelation 17 which identifiers the true Beast or Antii christVatican Pope will be the 8th King that was not there yet of the 7 Last Kings alluded to by God in the passage of Revelation 17:7- 15. God's reference to the metaphorical analogy it is of a human has a beast who hasn't the Breath of Life of the Holy Spirit and is mentioned in number of passages dating back to the time of proverbs. God refers to those that will be going into perdition and are not saved by virtue of this analogy. The eighth and final King mentioned in Revelation 17 will be the current Pope Francis with all the events leading to the new temple being dedicated in 2022 by Summer and the soon coming by the middle of the decade by the seven trumpets which true saved Christians will have a protection of God as mentioned in Revelation 9 when the terrible event of the Demons from the kit after the 5th trumpet are let go by Satan who has the key to the bottomless pit as referred to earlier in surrounding versus relating to Revelation 9:11( which is a description of Satan as the angel of the bottomless pit) . Refer to the KZread channel W. L. C.( World's Last Chance video channel) relating to the seven trumpets which will be sounded in this decade as God's last call before the end of probation. he will come to draw even in the riffic events that are shown the unrepentant to choose life instead of death. As you'll see with the fifth trumpet and the first woe of the Demons being allowed to sting those who don't have the mark of God but cannot die because God will not allow it, even though they wish to commit suicide even. This event as shown in the fifth trumpet video will last 150 days or 5 months as did the water is covering the Earth during Noah's flood while he was in the Arc with his family. Read in detail the description of the Ark of how it is constructed and comparing scripture with that of our Lord Jesus Christ referring his coming back as in the times of Noah or Noe as the Son of Man. he made reference to that in Matthew 24 about the signs of his return to his disciples at their request and learning the parable of the Fig Tree which relates to his timetable for the country of Israel become a country in one day, which occurred 5 / 14 / 1948. since that time he has been at the door as he said in Matthew 24 and the completion of the 70 weeks of years mentioned in Daniel 9:24 - 28 was completed last year. We are in the midst of a worldwide control of the satanists as seen in this fake covid-19 Democratic and control as a precursor of more control under the enforcement of the national or International Sunday law when Pope Francis is seen as the savior of the world and making negotiations with the dragon, which is Satan after the events of the fifth trumpet. God gives a direct time clue of Christ's return in 2nd Peter chapter 3 comparing briefly the events of the first worldwide judgment in Noah's flood and the coming of fire and judgement in the last. As Noah I had seven days to get into the ark Before the Flood occurred God parallel said inverse 8 of that third chapter of 2nd Peter is that there 7000 years between the first and this judgment coming seek the Lord and repent and turn around before the sounding of the seventh trumpet and the Third Woe has this will be the end of probation as outlined in the wlc videos. After that those Left Behind with no protection by God in HIS love. God and his invitation in Isaiah chapter 55 have seeking him while he may be found as a cross reference to another Old Testament verse in which He says I lay before you life and death, please choose life. There is only one way and that's in the way the truth and the life, Our Savior Jesus Christ. There are many prominent Hollywood celebrities who did not follow God's advice in numbers 32:23(i.e unfortunately well known comedian Bill Cosby, who has been historically traced as using Quaaludes and raping women dating back to the time even before he was a comedian in a popular late 60s detective movie known as I spy in which he co-starred with Robert Culp. unfortunately he did not let God's spirit remove this by repentance and now all the good that he may have done has known has been covered by the fact that he'll be in prison, possibly God saving him here?) take the opportunity to seek God with all your heart mind and soul as revealed in his great invitation in Isaiah chapter 55 while you still have time

The co-winners didn't seem to get along very well! Awkward moment. Maybe they rarely worked together in person but collaborated via curriers. Heavyweights such as Bacharach, Mancini and Legrand were bested. You can listen to I Will Wait For You over and over and never tire.
