I remember how as a little kid I used to spend time with my grandparents in the Caribbean. They had only one television station on the island, and they used to show one of the really old Hollywood movies every Sunday afternoon. They called it the Sunday Matinee. As a kid growing up in a culture that didn't focus much on these classic films, I was the odd one out in my family who took a liking to them, and Bette Davis was one of the first actresses I remember from those movies. She was one of a few from that time who are simply unforgettable. Some people are just bigger than life, and she certainly was.

how much PERSONALITY she could have??!!!
Its a shame people got to get old, isn't it? What else sucks is the fact that people can get better by learning from what people did in the past, but I honestly do not see any actress today that can grab your attention or act with the intensity as Bette.

Big R Yes, it is a shame. She is one of those people that you wish would live forever. I guess the only bright side is that she is forever on film. 😊
Her walk on stage reminds me of Sunset Blvd. Iconic.
and that dress is everything!
I went to see an evening with Bette at the London paladium many years ago but although we had opportunities to speak to her via a roving Mike I sat with my mouth open staring in awe the entire time magnificent actress the best of her era xx
That standing ovation! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A true personality and charismatic actress. Bette Davis ❤️❤️

At this movie title, she must’ve wondered : »what? »
The one and only fabulous, iconic, legendary and unforgettable Bette Davis!
Their is no one like Betty Davis these actors and actors can never be replaced today's are a lot to be desired 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
"There's no podium, you gotta get rid of these somehow!" Hahaha 👓
I love the simplicity of Witness and the performance of Harrison Ford in the film.
Bette Davis with her art, has pulled more tears out of my eyes, more heart pounding thrill, more excitement, more pain, more empathy than all others actors combined. I fell in love with her abilities when I watched Now Voyager the 1st of many I have watched and now want more and more. She brought it. Love her.
ICON.......................................................
I just Love her. She was so real.
Bette Davis, we love you ❤️

Bette Davis we love you!! That 1 of a kind voice and that wonderful spunk. You are Hollywood royalty!!!
It's such a joy to go down memory lane and watch these Oscar clips of years ago. Sadly, today's awards' events are lacking the same elegance and prestige.
What's admirable about Bette Davis she always loved the spotlight and only took formidable measures to be in it
the queen of hollywood. there will never be another like her, ever.
SHE'S FRICKIN' ADORABLE.
