Great review man. I was curious about your opinion on the use of decimated so I looked it up. Your right ….it does mean a tenth , but it can also be used the way he used it ( a large group) This is one of my favorite series, and each book gets better. The way to read this is back to back like your doing. Book 2 gets a lot more complicated. Your really good at giving reviews and explaining yourself. I wish I could do that. I struggle with phrasing what I wanna say. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on book 2 and 3.

Is TSOWWL heavy with details ??? I like a good fantasy story, no doubt. :) I bought a copy not too long ago, and I hope to read it soon after "Watership Down" and the last two volumes of "Akira".

I enjoyed this trilogy. Since you liked book 1, I think you will really like the next two as well. There are still some of the flaws you mentioned, but as a new author, I thought Islington told a good story.

Oh I think Islington did a great job with this story. Definitely looking forward to continuing it.
