Watch the pianist shake his head later in the vid. So muchness
groove on the top
He was bringing so much to the music world. Damn other than himself, that's the biggest loss to the world from him
i fr read the title as "the sexist thundercat lick"
I thought this was the Dream or T-Pain kin. Real musicians, not the fake stuff. He plucking the Fuck out them strings.
Baddest most remarkable bass line of the last 2 decades. Can I get a witness? ✊🏾

I mean, can't stop was released exactly 2 decades ago... so, next year I'll come back to agree with you
Absolutely breaks my heart. I miss you Mac.
Some incredible artists have passed through that NPR studio. Absolutely amazing.
That bass at 0:08 😗👌
This was such an amazing performance. Mac was taken much too young. Shit still feels
Tiny Desk Concerts are always a jam
Love that little Short Skirt Long Jacket phrase after the lick
Bro the more you listen to that and pick up on the subtle slurs and accent notes you get a heavier bass face
Dope
I love how this guy was also in "suicidal tendancies"
Mac will forever be one of the greatest minds of our generation. He was incredibly talented, well spoken and articulated; nothing beats a weekend wake and bake, turning on KIDS and vibing till noon
what song is this? its amazing

@@norbertleon8678 why did you call him guitar man. why did you lie like that
The matched note length between bass + vox on the word 'keep' - ugh!
That little snare polyrhythm after Thundercat was perfect
"Token, you're black. You can play bass."
Nice....UNKAL EARL/REVERBNATION
Love to see him smiling and enjoying the good music, R.I.P.
That lil snare lick after the bass lick is nice too
I thought I was the only one who plays on a six string bass

What's the use?-Mac Miller
I can see it now, America is in love.❤
I love how everybody there smiling because they know this shit was fire
Made the drummer lose the 1!
His smile is amazing here.
That like will never get old.
I wasn't even a big fan of Mac Miller and his music, but man, I fuckin' loved his energy and personality. Plus he reminds me on an old beat friend who also died at a young age. Sometimes the smartest and coolest ones are the ones to make a mistake and go too early.
yo the head bob's in sync between them all was sick to the beat of the drums n shit man that was fresh
Saw them live a couple years ago. Such a fun show
Damn. You can tell how much Stephen loved his brother just by this jam session. Love you Mac.
His smile after pulling that off is so contagious
ive spent the last few weeks learning this lick. it was hard getting it up to speed but it sounds awesome!
Lol, love it when a musician does something that makes another musician laugh during a performance.
That's the best feeling. When you KNOW you just killed it.
I got chills hearing this
It’s almost like the drop caught him off guard. Picked it up and showed us a good time. Beautiful.
Found a few of his songs unfortunately through tiktok..... didn't know he was around for this long and that I was depraved from the FUNK. Lost time. Good shit.

I get what you're saying... Better late than never though. So as much as I dislike tiktok, I'd say it's actually a fortunate event, regardless of how or when you found his music. Matter of fact, it's Thanksgiving! So I'm thankful you found this wonderful music and that it exists for us all to enjoy. Happy turkey day!

Boy Mac got that soul!!! Luv it mayne!
The energy in the room when the bass poured down. Lovely
Thundercat is such a joy to watch live. He has so much fun playing that bass.
So glad I don't have to hear him anymore. 😊
Man mac looked genuinely happy in this moment to be just jammin out with em. RIP Mac
Literally a pioneer of a phunky beat
