Fun fact about asmodeus: although related to lust, asmodeus still had a great respect for women. In generell, he is often described as humorous and friendly, and, what is the most surprising, had a great respect and deep understanding for the love of god. Marrying him to lilith is actually a briliant writing move. Also, look on the internet, if you are lucky, you can find the hilarious story of his battle with king salomo. Its a must-know

My question is, why do these demons punish the respective sins if... 1. They invented/they enjoy the sin, and 2. They're guilty of it themselves? Seriously, has God never heard of irony?

In Biblical Lore, Demons don't rule hell whatsoever because Hell is supposed to be their punishment. They're more on parole until judgement day with restrictions. Where people get their Biblical knowledge from is beyond me.

None of this is biblical - and the Bible has its own issues, left for another discussion. As the narrator explains at the start of the video, this is the classification created by the German Peter Binsfeld, a Catholic bishop, in 1589. And, the witch hunts - anti-dissident and anti-Semitic at their core - were again in full swing. An exaggerated number of Jewish writings, artifacts, and millions of people (mostly women, including many Jews) were destroyed during this time in Germany and Austria in the name of Catholic orthodoxy, and later, by Protestants as well. So none of this has anything to do with a sense of irony - God's or otherwise. But, it has everything to do with the desire of authoritarians to haunt the dreams as well as the waking hours of those they controlled.

@Gods Glory Yes, I know that Lucifer and Satan are the same person regarding religion. What I’m referencing in the post above is a video game that’s based on the 7 sins. The game has them as two separate people and Satan plays pranks on Lucifer. I’m sorry if there was any confusion in the post above.🙂 Also, not to be rude or anything but Jesus and God are not the same person. Jesus is God’s son. The Virgin Mary gave birth to him. This is shown in numerous artworks (Mainly in Renaissance paintings) and old texts. Although, they both could be the same person in different religions but I honestly don’t know. I was always taught that they were two different people. I’m not saying this to start any sort of argument or anything, I’m just stating what I have been taught. 🙂

When you realize that the Obey Me brothers are actually named by their real life counterparts. I watched this because I got bored but ended up finding out how the characters/brothers were named in the game and anime.

My favorite channel on mythical beings! I love how you tell each story, it always draws me in. You should definitely have more subs and views :)

According to "The Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage" and other reading material I've read there's supposedly 4 crown princes of hell; Lucifer, Satan, Leviathan, and Belial. Below them are 8 dukes of hell which are Astaroth, Asmodi, Oriens, Ariton, Magoth, Beelzebub, Paymon, and Amaymon. It also makes more sense for there to be only 4 crown princes as they're depicted as ruling the 4 corners of the earth (North, South, East, West). Just my 2 cents.

I mean they're all very good sins to be wary of but given the context on what I learnt from the bible it just doesn't add up. And people of that time were very corrupt in a manner to make up information just to kill innocent people because they didn't live the life others seem fit i.e. witch hunts.

The name “beelzebub” is actually slur name for lack of a better word towards King Ba’el. He was called the lord of flies as a way to make fun of him & his flowers. Basically saying flys are attracted dung. It’s not his proper name at all.

I don't think that there's princes of hell think about it Baal, Beelzebub, chemosh, Dagon are basically the same and I actually believe that Abaddon is Satan and I also believe he is Samyaza, Belial. He's also even reference to even be Mastema in the book of jubilees.

I literally just realized that the Anime Seven Deadly Sins got the ideas from these Demons.

Whenever I do something, I ask myself: "What ring of Hell would I end up in if I did this?" and depending on what it is, I'd either a- wouldn't care and do it anyways or b- give it some consideration, hesitate for a few days, then do it anyways
