The Service Cannot Accept Control Messages at This Time' Error in Windows 10/8/7.
There is a temporary mismatch between the requested control and the state of the service to be controlled. The service may be in a state of start-pending, stop-pending, or stopped.

Restart your computer then it will work until like 3 minutes

@@MDTechVideos he says that he cant even open the services application, which is showing the error "cannot accept control messages". He says its because he stopped alot of services in the task manager. I have this exact problem too

restart your computer, immediately after boot do the steps while you can still open services
all you have to do is restart your pc

What if I can't open "services"? It prompts the same error message when I click it, even if I "open as administrator"

@@mamihkel9755 I ended up letting it update to win 11 and the problem stopped. I suspect self-fuckery to get everyone to update to 11
